77 City Engineer hereby submits PLANS and SPECIFICATIONS- STORM SM#R.ETC. Trustee Jones presents the following RESOLUTION and moves its adoption,Trustee Ryan seconds the motion. RESOLUTION ADOPTING PLANS & SPECIFICATIONS. . RESOLVED, that the plans and specifications for doing the following work and making the following improvements in the Town of Redwood City,County of San Mateo,State of California, to -wit; THAT a double section corrugated iron arch culvert 42 inches by 33 inehes,on concrete base,be constructed on Phelps street at Cassia street,immediatley adjacent to curb line on the southerly side of Phelps street, the northerly section or half of said culvert to be 60 feet long,and commenning at the -easterly line of Cassia street and extending across the width of Cassia street,and the southerly section or half of said culvert to be 432 feet �! long,with one wye branch 42 inches by 33 inches extending southerly along the easterly curb of Cassia street for a distance of-gz'feet,and also with one wye branch'42 inches by 33 inches 82 feet long extending.southerly alor'ig westerly curb of Cassia street.'. The ends of said -double section culvert and the ends of said wye branches to have concrete inlets. That a concrete gutter 5 inches thick and 30 inches wide be constructed on the souther1w side of Phelps street from a point 5 feet westerly from the westeely line of Cassia street and extending to the easterly line of Maple street.Said gutter to begin at the southerly line of Phelps street and extend said width of 30 inches towards the center of the street. .That a concrete gutter 5 inches thic7t and 30 inches wide be constructed on the south- erly side of Phelps street from the westerly line of Maple street to the easterly curb '77i5olvtloo line of Main street.Said gutter to begin at the southerly curb line of Phelps street and A-42ji o extend said width of 30 inches towards the center of the street. _Plons,4a4 That a concrete gutter 6 inches thick and 5 feet wide be constructed on the southerly 5,.....ntoi, side of Phelps street across the intersection of Maple street,Aaid gutter beginning at the.. easterly line of Maple street and extending across Maple street to the westerly line of Maple street,Said 5 foot gutter to be constructed -so that when same,strikes the curbs on Street both sides of Maple street it shall taper down to meet the 30 inch gutter to be constructed„Sf,,-,, Said 5 foot gutter begin at a line 30 inches northerly from and parallel to the southerly SgWeh, curb line of Phelps street and extend said width of five feet in a southerly direction. That an 18 inch corrugated iron culvert storm sewer 46 feet long be constructed aorose Main street beginning at the gutter line at the southeast corner of Main street and Phelps street and extending in a straight line across Iviain street to a point at the westerly gutter line of Main street where a line 3 feet -northerly from and parallel to the southerly line of Webster street would intersect said westerly gutter -line of Main.street if said line were extended in a straight line easterly. THAT a 24 inch titrified salt glazed the pipe storm sewer be constructed on Webster street commencing at a point at the westerly gutter line of Main street where a line 3 feet northerly from and parallel to the southerly line of Brewster street would intersect said westerly gutter line of Main street if .said line.were extended in a straight line easterly, and running thence along a line 3 feet northerly from and parallel to the southerly line of Webster street to the easterly abatement of the concrete bridge on Webster street,said 24 inch storm sewer to be 250 feet in length. THAT the concrete abutement of the concrete bridge on Webster street where said 24 inch storm sewer strikes same be opened by having cut therein a 24 inch hole to permit said storm sewer to•empty Into the creek. THAT a concrete storm water inlet 24 inches by 24 inches be constructed with iron.cover, at the southeast corner of Main street and Phelps street to connect with 18 inch corrugated iron storm sewer to be constructed. THAT a concrete storm water inlet 24 inches be constructed with iron cover,at a point on the westerly gutter line of Main street where a line 3 feet northerly from and parallel to the southerly line of Webster.street would intersect said westerly•gatter line of Main street if said line was extended easterly"to connect with 18 inch corrugated iron storm sewer to be construe ted and also to connect with 24 inch vitrified salt glazed tile pipe storm sewer to be construeted,as prepared by the City Engineer of the Town of Redwood City . and submitted this 16th.day of Kune,Iglg,be and the same are hereby adopted as and for the plans and specifications for doing said work and making said imprmvements.
