<br />Gentlemen;
<br />For the $ I20,000 bonds of the Town of Redwood City,in the
<br />County of San Mateo,California,which bonds are described in your Ordinance
<br />No 200,we bid parand accrued interest to date,of delivery together with
<br />premium of Five.Thousand Dollars ( 6 5,000.00).
<br />As evidence of our good faith,we enclose herewith a certified
<br />check for Five Thousand Dollars(05,000.00) and as part payment of the purchase
<br />price of the bonds if our bid is accepted.
<br />If our bid is accepted we agree to pay for securing a legal
<br />opinion.of Mesers.Goodfellow,Eells,Moore & Orrick covering these bonde,to.
<br />take charge of and pay for the printing of the bonds,and if our bid is
<br />accepted we further agree to sell to the Town of Redwood City United States
<br />Victory 44 bonds at par and accrued interest to•date of delivery up to an
<br />amount equal to the total
<br />,purchase price of these bonds, And -,if we sell these
<br />bonds to the Town of Redwood City,we agree to purchase them from the Town of
<br />Redwood.City at any time that the Town may deeire,in any amount at par and
<br />accrued interest to date of delivery.
<br />This bid is made subject to the condition that the.proeeedings
<br />leading up to this issue are legal in every respect according to the opinion of
<br />our attorneys,Messrs.Goodfellow,Eells,loore & Orrick, and that these bonds when
<br />and as issued shall constitute a legal and bi3ld1ing obligation upon said .Town of
<br />Redwood City.
<br />In the event the above bid is not accepted,said check for Five
<br />Thousand Dollars($,000.00) is to be immediatley returned to us.

<br />Trustee Mc.Nulty offers the following Resolution and moves'its adoption,
<br />RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of the Town of'Redwood City,
<br />That the one hundred and twenty thousand ($ I20.000)dollars municipal Improvement Bonds
<br />of 2919 of said Town of Redwood City,authorized at a special election held in said Town
<br />on the 27th.day of May,1919,be,and the same are hereby sold to the First National Bank
<br />of San Mateo County,State of California,for par and a premium of seven thousand five
<br />hundred ($7500)dollars.
<br />Trustee Kreiss seconds the motion.
<br />Passed•ancd adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City at a special
<br />meeting of said Board duly and regularly called and held this 26th.day of June,1919,by
<br />the following vote;
<br />Ayes and in Favor of the passage of the foregoing Resolution,Trustees
<br />M.E.Ryam,Geo.W.Me.Nulty,J.C.Jones,Geo.A.Kreiss,Carl K.Mabie.
