G_. <br />' Redwood City,November 3rd.1919-7-30 o'clock P.M, <br />i <br />tr'b <br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City held. <br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees;- President Carl K.Mabie M.E.Ryan-Geo.W. <br />Me.Nulty, J. O. Jones-Geo,A.Xreiss,City Clerk W.A.Price. <br />Minutes of the regular meeting held October 20th.1919 were read and on motion of Trustee <br />Ide.Nulty,seconded by Trustee Jones same be approved as read,Motion Carried. <br />Moved by Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee 11Ic.Nulty'and carried the Town'of Redwood City <br />contribute the sum of One Hundred (p I00.)dollars to the "Welcome dome Celebration" of <br />this County held at San Mateo on Armistice day,Nevember IIth.1919. <br />Application of the Pacific Gas & Electric Company for permission to set poles on Pine <br />Street ,as per BLUE PRINT # 314 R was on motion of Trustee Krelss,seconded by Trustee <br />Ryan and carried same be granted. <br />Application of the Pacific Gas & Electric Company for permission to set poles on Norman <br />Street as per BLUE PRINT # 318 R attached - was on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by <br />Trustee Jones and carried same be granted. <br />Application of the Pacific Telephone & Telegraph Company for permission to install <br />creosted wood ducts and a manhole. on Webster Street between Washington and Main Streets <br />was on motion of Trustee Mc.Nulty,seconded by Trustee Kreiss said permission be granted <br />same to be under the supervision of the Supt,pf Streets,Motion•Carried.. <br />Application of the Clarion Social Club for a permit to hold a,three O'clock dames in <br />Forester's Hall on Saturday night November 15th.1919 was granted on,motion of Trustee <br />14 <br />Jones,seconded by Trustee Ryan and, carried. <br />Application of the Alpine Club for a permit to hold a 3 o'clock dance in Forester's Hall <br />on Saturday night November 22nd.19i9 was granted on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by <br />Trustee Kreiss and carried. <br />Application of G.Casaretto for permission to hold a I2 o'clock dance at 1304 El Camino <br />Real on Sajurday night Rovember 15th.1919 was granted on motion of Trustee Mc.Nulty, <br />seconded by Trustee Jones and carried. <br />On motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Jones,Health Officer Dr.J.E.Chapin be <br />authorized to purchase a labatory incubator ,same to cost 0 32.50.11otion Carried. <br />On motion of Trustee Me.Nulty,seconded by Trustee Jones,J.R,1Uller be allowed three fifth <br />{ of his 6 o Architect fee (:i ?thecsumiof 501125.03) on the New Fire House,Motion Carried. <br />, <br />f <br />On motion of Trustee Ie.Nulty,seconded by Trustee Kreiss,C.J.Lindgren be allowed 50 % <br />1 of his contract now done on Broadway Bridge in the amount of 0 5000.00 Motion Carried. <br />k <br />f On motion of Trustee Mc.Nulty,seconded by Trustee Kreiss,a warrant be drawn in favor of <br />Guiseppe Tocchetto in the sum of $ 280.00 ,the final payment for construction of Webster <br />{ Street Culvert,11otion Carried. <br />In the matter of the assessment issued to C.B.Cowden for the Phelps Street Storm Sewer <br />" under Resolutmon of Intention No.0-II the Board of Trustees having thoroughly investigated <br />said matter and it appearing to said Board of Trustees that said Tovrn of Redwood City <br />shpuld pay a portion of the cost of said improvements out of its general treasury,on <br />motion of Trustee Mc.Nulty,seconded by Trustee Kreiss,the Tovrn of Redwood agreed to pay <br />one half of the cost of the assessments of all property owners who made payment of their <br />assessments in a reasonable time to said contractor,said payment to be made by said Town <br />to said contractor upon satisfactory proof to said Board that said property owners had <br />paid their one half of the Assessments,Motion Carried, <br />, <br />
