130 <br />I <br />Redwood City,Deeember Ist-I9lg-7-30 o'clock P.M. <br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood Citw held. <br />Upon roll pall there were present; -Trustees President Carl K.Mabie-I1.E.Ryan-Geo ji.E:cNulty- <br />J'.C.Jones-Geo.A.Kreiss-City Clerk W.A.Price. <br />Minutes of Regular meeting of the Board held November 17th,IgIq were read and on motion of <br />Trustee IIc.Nulty,seconded by Trustee Jones same be approved as read,11otion Carried. <br />On motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Mc Nulty the report of the Chamber of. <br />Commerce on the Municipal Wharf project be accepted and the Board as a whole be appointed <br />as a committee to meet with the Committee from the Chamber of C.ommerce,IAttion'Carried. <br />Communication from the Redwood City Fire Department thanking the Boord for their action <br />in letting contract for the New Fire House,was on motion.'of Trustee Mo.Nulty,seconded by <br />Trustee Jones and carried,same be received and filed. <br />Communication from the San Mateo Community Council expressing their thanks for the <br />finicial assistance given them by the Board was on motion of Trustee Mc.Nulty,seconded by <br />Trustee Kreiss same be received. <br />Moved by Trustee Jones,seconded by Trustee Tac.Nulty,the sum of Fifty (p 50.00)dollars <br />be donated to the Redwood Troop No.I,Boy Scouts of America,Motion Carried. <br />On motion of Trustee I,Ic.Nulty,seconded by Trustee Kreiss and carried,the Board purchase <br />the amount of 0 25.00 of the Red Cross Christmas Seals. <br />.Application of the Redwood City Commercial Club for a permit to hold a 3 o'clock dance <br />in Forester's Hall December 13th.1gIq was granted on motion of Trustee Jones,seconded by <br />Trustee McNulty. <br />Application of G.Casaretto for a permit to hold a I2 o'clock dance December 13th.Iglg <br />was on motion of Trustee I,Ic.Nulty,seconded by Trustee Jones,same be granted. <br />Application of the Forester's Hall Assn.for a permit to hold a dance until 3 o'clock <br />in Forester's Hall.on Saturday night December 27th.I919 was on motion of Trustee Mc.Nulty, <br />seconded by Trustee Jones and carried same be granted. <br />Application of Redwood city Post N0,I05 American Legion,to hold a 3 o'clock dance in <br />Forester's Hall on Saturday night De-eember 20th.Iglg was on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded <br />by Trustee I,Ic.Nulty,same be granted, Motion Carried. <br />Moved by Trustee bic.Nulty,seconded by Trustee Kreiss,and carried,C.B.Cowden be allowed <br />Fifteen:'hundred ( 1500.00) dollars part payment on his Maple Street Improvement contract. <br />On motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Iireiss,C.J.Lindgren be allowed the stm of <br />Seven thousand (0 7000.00)dollars part payment on his concrete Bridges Contract,Motion <br />Carried. <br />I1.oved by Trustee Jones,seconded by Trustee Mc.Nulty and carried,Trustee Ryan be authoris9d <br />to have a street light installed at James and Fulton Stree,us and Hancock and Willow Sts;; <br />crassiny So�t/�ei�7acCos�-�iq/i1�o�rro�y <br />also to have all wire changes/1 made according to law, <br />Moved by Trustee 11c.Nulty,seconded by Trustee Jones,a siren be purchased for the use On. <br />4-fttom6bile'of Fire Chief Ryan,Motion Carried. <br />Marshall <br />Report of Treasurer`Supt.of Streets,and Supt.of Water was on motion of Trustee 11c.Nult-,;, <br />seconded by Trustee Kreiss and carried,same be received and filed. <br />Treasurer Report shows cash on hand December Ist.Iglg;- <br />General Fund ---------- 24,224.06 <br />Water 12:833.9I <br />i <br />t <br />„F <br />1 <br />r <br />i <br />
