<br />NOTICE is hereby given that all per-
<br />sons interested and objecting to the
<br />closing and vacating of said portion of
<br />Webster street hereinbefore described,
<br />are hereby notified to No thir objec-
<br />tions In writing, in the office of and
<br />with the Clerk of said Town of Red-
<br />wood City. as Cleric of the Board of
<br />Trustees of said Town of Redwood
<br />City, as required by law.
<br />And the said Clerk of the said Town
<br />of Redwood City is hereby ordered and
<br />directed to publish this Resolution of
<br />Intention No. D-1, once a week for a
<br />Period sof four (4) successive week%, in
<br />the Redwood City Democrat, a weekly
<br />newspaper published, Printed and cir-
<br />circulated in said Town of Redwood
<br />City, as required by Inw.
<br />And the Superintendent of Streets of
<br />said Town of Redwood City, 19 hereby l
<br />ordered and directed to immediately
<br />post conspicuously on all frontages of
<br />that portion of Webster street to be
<br />closed and vacated, a notice of the pass-
<br />Iage of this Resolution of Intention No.
<br />D -1, in the manner and for the period
<br />required by law, and also to cause a
<br />copy of said notice to he printed and
<br />published in said newispaPer, the Red-
<br />wood City Democrat, for the Period re-
<br />quired by law.
<br />The Redwood City Democrat• n week-
<br />ly newspaper of general circulation.
<br />Printed, published and circulated In
<br />said Town of Redwood City, is hereby
<br />designated as the newspaper In which
<br />to publish this Resolution of Intention
<br />..\'o. D-1 and the notices of the Street
<br />Superintendent of tine passage hereof,
<br />Ill relation to the closing and vacating
<br />as a public street and high\vay of the
<br />I:ereinbefore described portion of Web-
<br />ster street in said Town of Redwood
<br />City.
<br />The work of closing herein described
<br />shall be clone in pursuance of and
<br />in conformity with that certain
<br />act.of the Legislature of the State
<br />of California, entitled, "An Act to'
<br />provide for laying out, opening, ex-�
<br />tending, wfidening, stralghtening, or
<br />closing up in whole or In part anyi
<br />street, square. Ione, alley, court, or
<br />place within municipalities, and to
<br />condemn and acquire any and all
<br />land and property necessary or conven-
<br />lent for that Purpose." approved March
<br />Gth. 1SS9, and found in the Statutes of
<br />California of 1889 at Page 70, and all
<br />amendmentE thereof.
<br />Passed and adopted by tile Board of
<br />Truscees of the Town of Redwood City
<br />at a regular meeting of said Board held
<br />on the 2nd day of February, 19=0, by the
<br />following vote:

<br />RESOLVED, by the Board of Trustees of the Tovm of Redwood City, that the following
<br />described land in said Town,to-wit;
<br />Beginning at the point where the northwesterly line of East Jefferson Avon -me intersects
<br />the northeasterly line of Webster Street;thence along said northeasterly line of Webster
<br />street North 1000' East 247.44 feet to the angle in. said line of Webster Street;thence
<br />j along the ea erly line of Webster street North 3030' West 15.53 feet; thence leaving said
<br />line of Webster street South 53041 East 2 9.60 feet to the point where the northwesterly
<br />line of East Jefferson Avenue intersects the westerly line of Washington street;thence
<br />along said northwesterly line of East Jefferson avenue South 420oo' feet to the point of
<br />beginning,be and the same id hereby dedicated and set apart as and for a part and ,portion
<br />of Webster Street, for the use of the public.
