<br />Redwood City,May 17th.,1920-8 o'clock
<br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City held.
<br />Upon roll call there were present; Trustees President M.E.Ryan,0ar1 K.Mabie,H.C.Tuchsen
<br />Geo.W.McNulty,Uity Clerk W.A.Price,Absent Trustee Geo.A.Kreiss.
<br />Minutes of regular meeting held May 3r&,1920 were read and on motion of Trustee
<br />Tuchsen, seconded by Trustee Mc.Nulty,same be approved as read,Idotion Carried'*
<br />On motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Mc.Nulty, the City Engineer be
<br />instructed to give estimate and plans for taking care of the drainage of Redwood Ave
<br />district from the Woodside Road, and the wi ` g and covering of the creek along the ,;
<br />State Highway,Motion Carried.
<br />Mr.H.Taylor appeared before the Board complaining, that the sewer installed on his
<br />property at 168 E.Jefferson Avenue had not be laid according to -the plumbing Ordinance
<br />p,
<br />of the City,after some arguments on the matter, the plumber inspector was called and
<br />testified that the sewer was properly laid,thereupn Trustee Mabie,moved seconded by
<br />Trustee Tuchsen, the -report, of. the P=hber inspector be aeeepted,Motion 'Carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee McNulty,zeconded by Trustee Mabie,A.Hess be granted. permission

<br />to move a concrete garage from Camp Fremont along the street of the City'to his property
<br />on Webster Street,Motion Carried.
<br />A petition signed by 29 residents of the Boyd and Kent Tract asking•to be. -incorporated
<br />into the City. Limita was on motion of Trustee Mabie,eeconded by Trustee Tuchsen same be
<br />received and filed and a committee of three members of the Board,the"City Attorney and
<br />City Engineer be appointed to investigate said annezation,Motion Carried.
<br />The Chairman appointed Trastees,Tuch"s.en ,Mabie and Mo,Nulty'to act with'ithe;above
<br />committee,
<br />Vommunication from the Railroad Commisdion of the State of California,regarding
<br />complaint of the Bear Gulch Water Company,of the Town supplying the National Magnesia
<br />Mfg.Company with water was on'motion of Trustee Ruohsen,seoonded by Trustee Mabie, the
<br />communication be referred to the City Attorney,Motion Carried.
<br />A communication from the San Mateo County Preservation League requesting a committee
<br />be appointed iron the Board to attend a meeting of the League on June 5th,1920,in the
<br />Chambers of the Board of Supervisors ,in Redwood City was on motion of Trustee Tuchsen,
<br />seconded by Trustee Mabie,same be received and.filed,thereupon the Chairman appointed
<br />Trustees Carl K.Mabie,and Geo.W.MeNulty a committee to attend the meeting,Motion Carried.
<br />Moved by Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Mabie, the Supt, of Streets get in.
<br />touch with Mr.Monnet of the Pratt Low Company and come to some understanding with the
<br />sewer question for their plant and also make arrangement with him to meet in conference
<br />with the Board at an early date, Motion Carried.
<br />Application of E.B.Fbx for the renewal of Fire insurance on the Chemical Engine in
<br />the amount of 0 3750.00 was on motion of Trustee Tucheen,seconded by Trustee Mabie,same
<br />be renewed,Motion Carried.
<br />Communication from the May Bay Celebration committee thanking the Board for their
<br />participation and co-operation in making the celebration a success was on motion of
<br />Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Tuehsen,same be received and ftlOQ,Motion Carried.
<br />Application of the Pacific Gas & Electric Company for permission to set poles on
<br />Buckeye Street as Per BLUE PRINT # 370 R.same was granted on motion of Trustee Tuohsen,
<br />seconded by Trustee Mabie,Motion Carried.
