06 � <br />3 • <br />Redwood City,August 2ncd,1920,8 o'clock P.I,i. <br />`i <br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City field. <br />Upon roll call there were present; Trust see President M.'E.Ryan,Carl K.Mabie,H.C.Tuchsen, <br />Geo.W.MeNulty,Geo.A.Sseiss,City Clerk W.A.Price. <br />Minutes of regular meeting held Jult 19th.1920 and regular adjotLrned meeting held July �J <br />22nd.1920 were read and on motion of Trustee Ivlabie,seconded by Trustee McNulty and carried, 1 <br />same be approved as read. <br />Moved by Trustee Kreiss,seconded by Trustee Mabie and carried the City Attorney be <br />instructed to draw up a contract with Isaac Garcia to take out the trees in -.-Redwood' <br />Highlands,marked by the committee, <br />i <br />Communication from X.E.Ryan,Chief of Redwood City Fire Department,recommending the City <br />to advertise for 500 feet of 22 inch Fire Hose was on motion of Trustee Kreiss,seconded <br />by Trustee Mabie and carried,said communication be received and filed and the City Clerk <br />be instructed to advertise for sealed bids for <br />50 FEET .OF7212- INCH DOUBLE JACKET STANDARD FIRE HUSE IN 50 FOOT LENGTHS WITH MALE AND <br />FEMALE COUPLINGS SAN FRANCISCO STAIPARD. <br />for August 16th.. 1920 at 8 o'clock P -I, <br />Communication from Jos.White & Company for sale of lumber and other material at Camp <br />Fremont,was on motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Kreiss same be received <br />and filed. <br />Application of the Pacific Gas & Electric Company for a permit to set poles on Oak Knoll <br />Drive was on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee McNulty and carried,same be <br />granted as per BLUE PRINT NO ¢0I -R. <br />j <br />Application of the Pacific Gas & Electric Company for permission to set poles on . <br />Romona Street as per BLUE PRINT NO ¢02 R -was on motion of Trustee Kreiss,seconded by Trustee , <br />McNulty said application be granted,Motion Carried. i <br />Moved by Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Kreiss, the claim of Architect J.R:Miller <br />in the amount of 0 750.03 being the final payment for Architect fees on New Fire House <br />be allowed,Motion Carried. <br />On motion of Trustee Kreiss,seconded by Trustee Mabie and carried, the estimate payment <br />of 0 2887.00 recommended -by the City Engineer Dimmitt bu allowed J.H.Wilson on Lathrop <br />Street bridge contract. <br />Report of Plumbing Inspector Hogan for months of June and July was on Motion of Trustee <br />Mabie seconded by Trustee Kreiss and carried same be received and filed. <br />Application of G.Casaretto for a permit to hold q I2 o'clock Dance on Saturday Evening <br />August 7th.1920 was granted on motion of Trustee Mabie seconded by Trustee McNulty and <br />carried. <br />s. <br />i. <br />Application of Sequoyah Club for a permit to hold a 3 o'clock dance in Forester's Hall <br />on Saturday evejjitg August 21st.1920 was granted on motion of Trustee Sreiss,seconded by <br />Trustee Mabie. <br />
