0 <br />i <br />a <br />1,221 <br />I <br />Redwood City,October 4th.19PO-7-30 o'clock P.M. <br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town. of Redwood City held. <br />Upon roll call there were present -Trustees President IJ.E.Ryan.,Carl K.Mabie-H.C.Tnchsen- <br />Geo.CJ.McNulty-Geo.A.Kreiss- City Clerk w.A.Price. <br />Iclinutes of regular meeting held September 20th.1920 was read and on motion of Trustee <br />Kreiss,seconded by Trustee Mabie same be approved"as read,11otion Carried. <br />IToved by Trustee IvIcNulty,seconded by Trustee Mabie, the Supt.of Streets be instructed <br />to extend a 4 inch cast iron water pipe from the end of the present main at Melrose Place <br />along Edgewood Road to the J.W.Lowe residence,same to be done as soon as possible,also to <br />install the necessary fire hydrants, IGZotion Carried. ,. <br />Application of the Forester's Hall Assn.for a permit to hold a 3 o'clock dance in <br />Forester's Hall on Baturday evening October 23rd.1920 was on Motion of Trustee Mabie, <br />seconded by Trustee Kreiss and carried same be granted. <br />Application of G.Casaretto for a permit to hold a I2 o'clock dance on Saturday evening <br />October 9th.1920 was on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Kreiss and carried <br />same be granted. <br />Communication from the California State Board"of.Health requesting the attendance of they <br />City Health Officer at the convention to be held at Chico November 8 -II -1920 was on motion <br />of Trustee Tuchsen, seconded by Trustee Kreiss same be received and filed, Motion Carried. <br />The following letter was received from the S.H.Frank Company and on motion of Trustee <br />Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Kreiss, said letter be received and filed, and the contents be <br />spread on the minutes, and the Clerk be instructed to notify the S.H.Frank Company the <br />matter would be taken up an early date, Motion Carried. <br />S.H.FRANK & OC. <br />Tannery Department.., <br />Redwood City, <br />Sep.27,1920. <br />Hon.Board of Town Trustees, <br />Redwood City, Calif. <br />Gentlemen; <br />Having taken up the matter of a change in the escrow agreement between the town <br />of Redwood City and ourselves, we have decided that this agreement must stand as <br />it is at present without any change. <br />If this decision does not meet with your approval, we would like to have you <br />make the necessary resolutions, etc, to release the property,and turn same back to <br />us, as we can use it; and would like to have the use of it just as soon as possible. <br />We would ap-)reciate your taking some immediate action in this matter. <br />Yours very truly 11 <br />S.H.Frank & Co. <br />Frank G.Marcus. <br />Vice Pres. <br />Reports og Treasurer,Marshall and Tax Collector was on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded- <br />by Trustee Kreiss and carried same be received and filed. <br />The following cl-ims No.208 to 222 and 240 to 292 were passed on by the Finance Committee+. <br />
