224 <br />Redvrodd City,October 18th.1920-7-3e o'clock P.M. <br />Regular meoting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City held. <br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees; -President Isi.E.Ryan,Carl K.htabie,H.C.Tuchsen, <br />Geo.W.McNulty,City Clerk VI.A.Price.Absent Trustee Geo.A.Kreiss. <br />Minutes of regular meeting held October 4th.1920 were read and on motion of Trustee <br />Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee McNulty same be approved as read. <br />Application of the Pacific Gas & Eleetric Company for permission to set poles on Hillview <br />Avenue as per BLUE PRINT # 420-11Z; was on motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee <br />Tuchsen same be granted. Motion Carried. <br />Communication from Idrs Caroline Hawes Robinson regarding condition of bridge on Rooseve'l-, <br />Avenue was on motion of Trustee McNulty,seconded by Trustee Iuabie same be,received and <br />filed. <br />Communication from Captain C.W.Cole of the U.S.Navy extending an invitation to the <br />Mayor and one representative in the inspection of the U.S.S.Californi.a at Mare Island,on <br />October 23rd.1920 was on motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee YcHulty same be <br />received and filed and the acceptance and attendance be left to Chairman Ryan,ryiotion <br />Carried. <br />Application of Redwood Post No.I05 American Legion for a permit to Iiold'a three o'cloc:c <br />dance in Forester's Hall on the evening of November IOth.and 20th 1920 was on motion of <br />Trustee Tabie,seconded by Trustee Tuchsen said permits be granted, I%otion Carried. <br />Application of Redwood Parlor No 66,N.S.G.W.for a permit to hold a three o'clock dance <br />in Forester's Hall on Saturday evening November 6th.1920 same was granted on motion,of <br />Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee I1cIdulty, <br />Application of Guido Farnaciari & Vompany for two permits to hold a dance at 1304 <br />El Camino Real on October 23rd.1920,until 3 o'clock,and the other on October 30th.1920 <br />until twelve o'clock was on motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee I,iabie a permit <br />until twelve o'clock be granted them for October 23rd'1920 and if satisfactory to the <br />Police Commission they grant the one for October 30th.1920,until twelve o'clock. Motion <br />Carried. <br />Communication from -the Keystone Company regarding the remitting the fine of one of <br />their drivers for not paying their delivery license,vras on motion of Trustee I:IcNulty, <br />seconded by Trustee Mabie,said com:unication be received and filed, Motion Carried. <br />Cormmznication from the League of California Municipalities reguesting the Members of <br />the Board and City Officials to attend the Convention of the League at Chico November <br />8th. to IIth.1920 was on motion of Trustee I.iabie,seconded by Trustee Tuchsen the City <br />Attorney,Supt. of Streets, Health Officer and any' members of the Board who.fitd.it <br />convenient to attend the convention may do so, their exienses to be paid by the City, <br />I,iotion Carried. <br />Vommunication from Dreyfus Bros.regarding a bill of q) 58.58 for extra parts for the <br />pump at the outfall sewer,asking the Board to stand one half of the bill in the amount <br />of tip 29.29 was on motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Tlabie the Clerk write <br />Dreyfus Bros,informing them that the Board does not believe they are liable for the bill, <br />hherefore they object to same, I,Iot..on Carried. <br />' t <br />f' <br />t <br />4� <br />J•� <br />E <br />i <br />'i <br />is <br />I. <br />' t <br />t <br />E <br />
