Redwood City.December 20th.1920.7-30 O'clock P.Lc. <br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City $eld. <br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees;- President X.E.Ryan,Carl K.Nebie,H.C. <br />Tuchsen,Geo.W.McNulty,City Clerk I.A.Price,Absent Trustee Geo.A.Kreiss. <br />Minutes of regular meeting held December 6th.I920,and regular adjourned meeting <br />held December 13th.102O were read and on motion of Trustee Ivlabi,e,seconded by Trustee <br />I,IcNulty same be approved as read.I:iotion Carried. <br />Application of the New Travatore Hotel for a permit to hold a dance on Saturday <br />evening January Ist.192I until I2 o'clock ,same was granted on motion of Trustee I,iabie, <br />seconded by Trustee McNulty and carried. <br />Application of Guido Farnaciari Company for e. permit to hold a dance on Saturday <br />evening January Ist.1921 until twelve o'clock was on motion of Trustee McHulty,seconded <br />by Trustee Tu.chsen same be granted.Liotion Carried. <br />A petition signed by a large number -of citizens of Redwood Highlands District relative <br />to aparing such oak trees that stand in the curb or gatter,was on motion of Trustee Tuchsen <br />seconded by Trustee Yabie and carried said petition be received and filed, and the Clerk <br />be instructed to write the party heading the list, informing him the Board had no intention <br />of removing any trees along the curb line or not in the way,and their wishes would be <br />respected in every possible manner. <br />Moved by Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Mabie, the Supt.of Water be instructed to <br />install a water connection and meter at Irlrs.Dimsmore home residing on Redwood Avenue,she <br />to spy at the rate of fifty cents per month until same be paid in full,I.iotion Carried. <br />Upon report and recommendation of'Trustee Iriabie,Chairman of the Police Committee <br />regarding the gambling situation in Redwood City,on motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by <br />Trustee IZellulty, this Board go on record exonerating Chief of Police C.L.Collins of any <br />charge of neglecting his duty in connection with the alleged gambling situation in this <br />City and also Mr.I.iarley be absolved from any blame,as there was not proff enough to show <br />that he knew that there mas gambling going on in his place,I,iotion Carried. <br />4 <br />Communication from the Pulgas Mosquito Abatement District informing the Board tthe term <br />of Carl S.I,Iabie as trustee of this Abatement District would expire on January 25th.192I, <br />was on motion of Trustee Tuchsem, seconded by Trustee I.icitulty that Trustee I.Iabie be re- <br />appointed to represent this district, I.iotion Carried. <br />The path of office of I1r.P.P.Chamberlain and Mr.A.X.i.ncaid as members of ,the Board of <br />Trustees of the Redwood City Public Library was on motion of Trustee Tuce <br />h�an,seconded by <br />Trustee I.IcNulty same be received and filed.Kotion Carried. <br />I,Ioved by Trustee uchsen, seconded by Trustee I,IcNulty a warrant in the amount of Ten <br />Dollars be drawn in favor of Miss Plorance Boggs to be used in purchasing Christmas gifts <br />for the little orphans under her care at the Emergency Hospital,Ijotion Carried. <br />237 <br />
