242 <br />O <br />Redwood City,January 17th&I92I,7-30 o'clock P.M. <br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City held. <br />I` <br />Upo# roll call there were present; -Trustees President M.F.Ryan,Carl K.Mabie,H.C.Tuchsen, <br />Tel <br />Geo.,W.MeNulty,Geo.A.Kreiss9City Clerk W.A.Price. <br />Minutes of regular meeting held January 3rd.192I were read and on motion of Trustee <br />McNulty,seeonded by Trustee Mabie same be approved as read,Motion Carried. <br />Communications from the Redwood City Aerie # 418,F.O.E.Redwood Parlor # 66,N.S.G.W.; <br />Metamora'Tribe # 2¢,Improted Order of Redmen,Court Madrone # I.58 Hall Association and <br />Redwood City Protective Assn.No.570 Federation of Musicians protesting against prohibiting <br />public dances after I o'clock A.M. was on motion of Trustee Tuchsen, seconded by Trustee <br />McNulty,said communication be received and filed,Motion Carried. <br />After hearing talks from the several committees protesting against prohibiting dancing <br />after I"o'clock A.M.,it was on.motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee McNulty, the <br />matter be laid over until the next meetiing February 7th.192I.Motion Carried. <br />Affidavits of Miss Cat#erine J.Boyle and Mrs.Emma H.Kalenborn ,as members of the Board <br />of Trustees of the Public Library was on motion of Trustee McNulty seconded by Trustee <br />Tuchsen same be received and filed. Motion Carried. <br />Application of Chas. 0, Car2§j& for a plumbers license for the year 192I was on motion <br />of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee McNulty same be granted,Motion Carried. <br />Application of the Pacific Gas & Electric Company for permission to contact on Redwood <br />City Poles on Hancock Street as per BLUE PRINT # Q.Q.Q. R.was on motion of Trustee Mabie, <br />seconded by Trustee McNulty same be granted,Motion Carried. <br />Application of the Order of Redman for a permit to hold a 301clock dance in Forester's <br />Hall on Saturday.night January 22nd.192I,was granted on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded <br />by Trustee Tuehsen,Motion Carried. <br />Application of Guido Farnacairi Company for a permit to hold a dance at 130¢ El Camiho <br />Real on Saturday evening until twelve O'clock on January 22nd.and January 28,192I was on <br />motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee McNulty same be granted. Motion Carried. <br />Application of G.Deluchi for a permit to hold a I2 o'clock Dance at 1304 El Camino Real <br />on Saturday evening February 5th.192I was on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee <br />McNulty said permit be granted.Motion Carried. <br />The offer of Fifty(p 50.00) Dollars by D.P.Flynn for the old horse roller was on motion <br />of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee McN-Vlty said offer be accepted,Motion Carried. <br />Moved by Trustee Tuchsen, seconded by Trustee McNultyf Ist.Asst.F.E.George be authorized <br />to purchase two brooms,a first aid kit, and to subscribe for one evening hews paper and <br />the Sunday Examiner for the Fire Department.B[otion Carried. <br />
