262 <br />Redwood•City, May 2nd.192I,8 o'clock P.M. <br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City held. <br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees; -President M.E.Ryan,Carl K.Mabie,H.C. <br />�f <br />' Tuchsen,Geo.W.McNulty,Geo.A.Kreiss,City Clerk W.A.Price. <br />Minutes of regular meeting held April 18th#I92I were read and on motion of Trustee <br />Mabie,seconded by Trustee Kreiss same be approved as read,Motion Carried. <br />Application of the Pacific Gas & Electric Company for permission to set two poles <br />on Lincoln Avenue,as per BLUE PRINT NO -482 A,attached,was on motion of Trustee Mabie, <br />seconded by Trustee Kreiss sahie'be'granted,Motion Carried. <br />Application of the Pacific Gas & Electric Company for permission to contact on two <br />poles of the Town of Redwood on Hancock Street as per BLUE PRINT # 479-R attached was on <br />motion of Trustee Kreise,seconded by Trustee Mabie,said permission be granted.Motion <br />Carried. <br />Application of the Aloha Club for a permit to hold a one o'clock Dance in the Masonic <br />Hall,Saturday evening May 2Ist.192I was on motion of Trustee Kreiss,seconded by Trustee <br />Mabie and carried same be granted. <br />Application of the Jazz Club for a permit to hold a one o'clock dance in Masonic <br />Hall on Saturday evening May 14th.192I;was on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee <br />and carried same be granted. <br />Application of the Peninsular Club for a permit to hold a one o'clock dance in <br />Masonic Hall on Saturday evening May 7th.192I was on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by <br />Trustee McNulty and carried same be granted. <br />Application of Court Madrone # 158 Hall Assn.for a permit to hold a one o'clock Dance <br />in Forester's Hall Saturday evening May 2Ist.192I,was on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded <br />by Trustee Kreiss and carried same be granted. <br />Application of the Order of Druids for a permit to hold a one o'lock in Forester's Hall <br />on Saturday evening Iuiay 7th.192I was granted on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by <br />Trustee Kreiss. <br />Communication from C.Xeller,Colonel,Corps of Engineers at Washington D.C.informing the <br />Board in answer to their telegram sent him of April 27th.192I, that an extention of time <br />had been granted to May 28th.192I,to present Data :.relative to the Redwood Creek project, <br />was on motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee IdicNulty same be received and filed, <br />Motion Carried. <br />Moved by Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee McNulty and carried,Sylvester Douglass <br />be authorized to purchase a sixty gallon gasoline tank for the Central Dire House, the <br />cpst of same be -0 14.75. <br />Application' from the Redwood City Post # I05 American Legion asking permission of the <br />Board for a permit to operate a Carnival and shows for one week,Commencing May 9th.to 14 <br />th.192I inc.was on motion of Trustee -'�Labie,seconded by Trustee Kreise.Redwood City Post <br /># 105 American Legion be granted a free license to operate a carnival show in this City <br />during the week of May 9th.to 14th.192I,inclusive, Motion Carried: <br />The following bids were received for the improvement of Webster Street between Washingto-a <br />Street and the Bridge to -wit; <br />Chas.Cofiori. <br />Constructing new curb 60 Cts.per lineal foot. <br />Constructing side walk 22 cts per square foot. <br />Removing old Curb-- $ 25.00 <br />0 <br />0 <br />C <br />
