<br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City held.
<br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees; -Pre si dant M.E. Ryan, H. C.Tuchsen, Ge o.W.MeNulty,
<br />Geo.A.Kreiss,City Clerk w.A.Price,Absent Trustee Carl K.Mabie.
<br />Minutes of regular meeting held July 6th,192I were read and on motion of Trustee greiss,
<br />seconded by Trustee McNulty same be approved as read,Motion Carried.
<br />Communication from the Redwood City Fire Department was received by the Board,asking
<br />the City of Redwood through the Board of Trustees to call a special election to purchase
<br />i a new triple combimation fire engine, the cost of same to be $ 15,000.00,was on motion
<br />of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee McNulty,same be'received and filed, and further
<br />V action pn said communication be brought up at next meeting,Motion Carried.

<br />The undersigned hereby makes application for a permit for a license to
<br />conduct a hotel and restaurant business upon our premises on Jdain Street in said Town of

<br />Redwood City and formerly known as the REDWOOD CITY HOUBE,UNDER ORDINANCE NO 210.

<br />On motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee McNulty, the foregoing application
<br />be granted, Motion Carried.
<br />Application of the Pacific Gas & Electric Company for permission to set five poles in
<br />Oak Knoll Manor as per BLUE PRINT 513 R -and three poles on Ebener Street as per BLUE
<br />Print # 512-R also set three poles on King Street as per BLUE PRINT 511-R was on motion
<br />of Trustee greiss,seconded by Trustee Tuchsen,said permit be granted,Motion Carried.
<br />Applivation.of Abraham Chicanobit for city water oh his property in the Boyd and gent
<br />i tract situated on the State Highway,was on motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee
<br />McNulty,the city to supply him with water provided he brings to the city water main his
<br />own pipe,Motion Carried.
<br />The bids received and opened for cast iron water pipe and deferred to this meeting
<br />P
<br />for action ,was at this time brought up and on motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by
<br />Trustee McNulty,all bids be rejected and the certified checks be returned,Motion Carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee McNulty, the liability insurance
<br />policy on police car No.I be renewed, Motion Carried.
<br />Moved by Trustee Tuchsen,seconded b;V Trustee greiss, the Chief of Police be authorized
<br />to procure a liability insurance policy for police Car # 2,Motion Carried.
<br />Application of Court Madrone # 158 F.of A for a permit to hold a dance in Forester's
<br />Hall,Saturday evening July 30th.192I2was on motion of Trustee greiss, seconded by Trustee
<br />McNulty,said permit be Granted until one o'clock.Motion Carried.
