<br />Regular meeting of the,Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City held.
<br />Upon roll call -there were present Trustees;-rCarl.'X,Mabi.e;H.C.Tuchsen,Geo.W,MeNulty,
<br />Geo.A.Kreiss,City Clerk W.A.Price,Absent Trustee,President M.E.Ryan..
<br />Moved by Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee McNulty, Trustee Tuchsen,be appointed
<br />temporary Chairman,Motion Carried.

<br />Communication and Resplution from the Redwood City Woman's Club regarding :the elimination
<br />of advertising sign boards,also the selling of fruits,foods and flowers along the highway,
<br />and boulevards of San Mateo County,and the streets of Municipalities, was on motion of
<br />Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Kreiss and carried saiAe be received and filed.
<br />Application of the Pacific Gas & Electric Company•.for.permission to set three poles on
<br />Standish Street,as PER BLUE PRINT § 529 R-was•on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by
<br />Trustee Kreiss said permits be granted,Motion Carried.
<br />Application of the Peninsula Club of Redwood City for a permit to hold a one o'clock,
<br />dance in Forester's Hall Saturday evening September I0, 1921, was' granted on motion of Trustef
<br />Kreiss,seconded by Trustee Mabie,Motion Carried.
<br />' Application of G.Fgr-naciari Company for a permit to hold a twelve o'clock dance at
<br />130¢ E1 Camino Real on Saturday evenings of Septemper IOth. and 17th.I92I,was granted on

<br />motion of Trustee Kreiss,seconded by Trustee Mabie and carried.
<br />Moved by Trustee McNulty,seconded by Trustee Mabie and carried, the Board pay the
<br />! expenses of FIRE CHIEF M.E.RYAN, if he so desires to'attend the CONVENTION of PACIFIC
<br />COST A,SSSOCIATION of FIRE CHIEB S to be held at VICTORIA,B.C. September 27th.to 30th,192I
<br />he also be granted a leave of absence of thirty(30) days to leave the State.
<br />Communication from the Presidant of Stanford University and the Mayor of Palo Alto
<br />asking the co-operation 'at Santa Monica, of this city in making Stanford University and
<br />Palo Alto the meeting place of the League of California Municipalities in September 1922;
<br />was on motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Kreiss,said communication be received,
<br />and filed, and all delegates attending the convention from this City boost for Palo Alto,
<br />Motion Carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee McNulty, the report of Plumbing Inspector
<br />be referred to City Engineer to make notation of what sewer extension would be needed,
<br />Iviotion Carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee McNulty and carried, the Redwood City
<br />i
<br />Fixe department be granted at one o'clock dance permit on•Saturday evening October 15th.
