33 ■ The Town Clerk is hereby directed to post a notice of said work and improvements,to- gether with the plans and specifications therefor,conspicuously for five days on or near the Council Chamber door of the Board of 'Brustees of'said Town of Redwood City,inviting sealed proposals or bids for doing the work ordered, SAid Clerk is also directed to publish a notice inviting such sealed proposals or bids, and referring to the plans and specifications posted or on file,twice in the Redwood City Standard,a weekly newspaper published,printed and circulated in said Town of Redwood City,(there being no daily or semi-weekly newspaper published in said Town) and hereby designated for that purpose by said Board of Trustees. c1 i Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City at a regular meeting of said Board,at the hour of 9.10 o'clock P.M.on the 3rd.day of October,192I,by the following vote; Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing Resolution Ordering.the Work No.E-2, Trustees, -Carl K.Mabie,H.C.Tuchsen,Geo.W.McNulty,Geo.A.Kreiss,NI.E.Ryan. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Noes and against the passage of the foregoing Resolution Ordering the Work No.E-2.Trust.ees. Trustee Tuchsen offers the following Resolution and moves its adoption,Trustee McNulty seconds the motion. RESOLUTION ORDERING THE WORK NO.E.-I. RESOLVED, that whereas the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City,did,on the 6th. day of September,192I.pass its Resolution of Intention No.E-I to order the hereinafter described work to be done and improvements to be made in said Town,which Resolution of Intention No.E-I was duly and.legally published as required by law,as appears from the affidavit of D.E.OTKeefe now on file in the office of the Clerk of said Town of Redwood City; and WHEREAS,notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention No.E-I headed "Notice of Improvement" were duly and legally posted along the line of said contemplated work and Improvemepts and in front of all the property liable to be assessed therefor, and upon each and every street in the assessment district described in said Resolution of Intention No.E-I,in time,form,manner and nurAber as required by law,after the passage of said Resolution of Intention No.E-I as appears from the affidavit of Edward Dearborn,Street Superintendent of said Town of Redwood City,now on file in the office of the Clerk of said Town of Redwood City; and WHEREAS, at the time fixed in said Resolution of Intention Ho.E-I and in said notices of improvements,so posted as aforesaid,whetn and where protests aga�i.nst said work and improvements described therein and agains'the proposed grade at which it was proposed to do said work and improvements could be made to the Board of Trustees of said Town of Redwood City,no person or persons appeared and no protest �of any kind were made against said work and improvements or against,the proposed grade at which said work and improve- ments are to be done and made, and said Board of Trustees now having acquired jurisdiction to order said work and improvements;
