<br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City held.
<br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees; -President I4I.E.Ryan,Carl K.Mabie,H.C.Tuchsen,
<br />Geo*W.LlcNulty,Geo.A.Kreiss,City Clerk W.A.Price.
<br />Minutes of regular meeting held October 3rd.192I was read and on motion of Trustee Kreiss,
<br />seconded by Trustee McNulty and carried same be approved as read.
<br />Application of the•Pacific Gas & Electric Company for permission to contact on three(3)
<br />poles belonging to the Town of Redwood and for setting one,pole on Edgewood Road near
<br />Ashley Avenue as per BLUE PRINT % 554-R, attached, also permission to set one pole on
<br />Ebener Street as per BLUE PRINT %m 552-R,attached was on motion of Trustee Kreiss,seconded
<br />by Trustee Tuchsen and carried said permits be granted.
<br />Communication from Redwood City Board of Health regarding the unsanitary condition of
<br />the toilet at the Kindergarden School was on motion of Trustee Tuchsen,secondecl by Trustee
<br />McNulty same be received and filed,pending action of the .school Trustees
<br />Report of the Board of Dire Underwriters of the Pacific re,arding the recent inspectiol
<br />of the fire protection of the City was read and on motion ofTrustee Tuchsen,seconded by
<br />Trustee McNulty, the report be referred to the City -Engineer, and Supt,of eater System to
<br />report on at next meeting, the cost, of, the improvements sugeested,Motion Carried.
<br />Communication from Redwood Cityc"later Company stating to the Board they find -they are
<br />unable to continue- supplying the'Cit y with Water at the, present rate of I21F- cts ner I,000
<br />gallons, and requesting the Board to make an appraisal .of their'plan;t and allow them a
<br />rate that will give them a fair return on their investment,was on motion of Trustee McNulty
<br />seconded by Trustee Mabie,said communication be received and filed, and: the Clerk be
<br />instructed to write and notify the Redwood City Water Com,any,trhat it .is the _sense of this
<br />Board to have them' take up the matter with the Railroad Commissioners fo:r thbir-adjustment
<br />in the matter of rate,Motion 8arried.
<br />Application of the Associated Aeries of San Mateo County F.O.E. for permission -to hold
<br />a one o'clock dance in Forester's Hall Saturday evening October 29th.192I;was on motion
<br />of Trustee Mcldulty,seconded by Trustee Mabie same be grant ed,latotion-Carried:
<br />Application of Redwood City Aerie,Fraternal Order of Eagles to hold a'one o'clock dance
<br />Saturday evening November 5th.192I,same vias granted on motion of'Trustee McNulty,seconded
<br />by Tpu.stee Kreiss and carried.
<br />Application of A.Dal Paggetto for a permit to hold a -twelve o'clock dance at 2304 E1
<br />Camino Real on Saturday evenings October 22nd.and October 29th.1922;same"was granted on
<br />motion of Trustee Kreiss,seconded by Trustee Mabie and carried.
<br />Application of David Uebel to have City water supplied him on S.E.I/2 of Lot 4,B1k.3
<br />situated on Laguna Street,was on motion.of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee McNulty,
<br />said application be granted,Motion Carried.
<br />Moved by Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee McNulty,in`tYie.mAtter of the San Francisco
<br />Steel Products Company,who were awarded the contract to furAish the cast iron water pipe,
<br />1.4eirx check..not• berproperly certified the matter be referred to the City Attorney for
<br />immediate action,Motion Carried.
