<br />RESOLVED, that the said Board of Trustees hereby rejects all of said proposals or bidsf`x

<br />making said improvements to the lowest regular responsible bidder,to wit, W,'W.Thompeon
<br />at the prices named in his bid.
<br />The Town Clerk of said Town of Redwood City is hereby directed to post notice of this
<br />award conspicously for five days,on'or near the Council Chamber door of the Board of Truste6
<br />of said Town of Redwood City, and also to cause such noticeof award to be published by
<br />two successive insertions in the Times-Gazette,a weekly newspaper, published, printed and
<br />circulated in said Town of Redwood City,(there being no daily or semiTweekly newspaper
<br />I published therein),and hereby designated for that purpose by said Board of Trustees.

<br />On motion of Trustee� Kreiss, seconded by *Trustee Mabie and carried, the Redwood Post
<br />American Legion be granted a permit to hold a carnival iron October 26th: to November 3rd,
<br />1921,provided they furnish police protection free of charge to the City,Motion Carried.
<br />Moved by Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Mabie, the Redwood Post American.Legion
<br />. be allowed and not to exceed the sum of $ 150eoo for a float to take part in the Armistice
<br />day parade in San Mateo November,IIth.192I4?
<br />On motion of Trustee Kreiss,seconded by Trustee.MeNulty, the clerk be instructed to
<br />write the San Francisco Steel Products Company requesting them to appear before the Board
<br />at the next regalag meeting November,7th.192I and explain their position in the matter of
<br />their certified check,and show cause why the contract awarded them for cast iron water Pipe
<br />should npt be cancelled,Motion Carried.
