<br />ORDINANCE NO. 2428.
<br />AN ORDINANCE REGULA'T'ING AWN-
<br />INGS IN THE TOWN OF RED•
<br />WOOL) CITY.
<br />The Board of Trustees of the Town of
<br />Redwood City do ordain as follows, to -
<br />wit:
<br />Section 1, It is hereby declared on -
<br />lawful for any person, firm or corpora-
<br />tion to construct or erect or cause to be
<br />constructed or erected any wooden awn-
<br />ing over or upon any sidewalk at, any
<br />public street In the Town of Redwood
<br />City, Comity of San Mateo, State of Cal-
<br />ifornia.
<br />Section 2. It is hereby declared un-
<br />lawful for any person, firm or corpora-
<br />tion to construct, erect or maintain or
<br />cause to be constructed, erected or
<br />maintained any canvass awning over
<br />or upon any sidewalk or any public
<br />street In the Town of Redwood City,
<br />County of San Mateo, State of Califor-
<br />nia unless such canvass awning and
<br />every part thereof is at least six feet
<br />six inches above the top of the ❑niched
<br />sidewalk when opened.
<br />Section 3. This ordinance shall be
<br />published once in the Redwood City
<br />Standard, a weekly newspaper publish-
<br />ed, printed and circulated In said Town
<br />of Redwood City and shall take effect
<br />and be In force from and after thirty
<br />(30) days after its passage.
<br />Introduced this 24th day of October,
<br />1921.
<br />Passed and adopted as an Ordinance
<br />of the Town of Redwood City by the
<br />Board of Trustees of said Town at a
<br />regular meeting of said Board hell on
<br />the 7th day of November, 1921, by the
<br />following vote: -
<br />Ayes and In favor of the passage of
<br />the foregoing ordinance, Trustees,
<br />Carl K. Alabie, If. C. Tuchsen, Geo. W.
<br />McNulty, .Geo. A. Krelss, M. E. Ryan.
<br />Noes and against the passage of the
<br />foregoing Ordinance, Trustees,
<br />None
<br />Absent, Trustees,
<br />None.
