<br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City held:
<br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees; -President M.E.Ryan,Carl K Mabie,H.C.Tuchsen,
<br />Geo,yl,McNulty,Geo.A.Kreiee9City Clerk W,A.Price.
<br />Minutes of regular meeting held January 16th.1922 were read and on motion of Trustee
<br />McNulty, seconded by Trustee Kreiss and carried same be -approved as read.
<br />Mr.D.R.Stafford appeared before the Board requesting the privelege of changing the
<br />moving of building from Winslow Street and Broadway to the union Oil lot facing on
<br />Broadway,was 'on motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Kreiss same be granted
<br />providing it does bot conflict with the fire ordinance,'Motion Carried.
<br />This being the time for taking upthe purchase of a Fire, engine pumper,it was on
<br />motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee McNulty, the Board purchase a Seagrave,Trmstees
<br />Mabie,McNulty and Ryan voted "•Yes,Trastee Tuchsen,aud Trustee Kreiss voted*"No",Motion
<br />Carried.
<br />Moved by Trustee McNulty,seconded by Trustee Mabie the certified checks and bidder
<br />bonds be returned to unsuccessful bidders,Motion Carried.
<br />The following communication was received from the Board of Health;-

<br />Owing to the numerous complaints received by -this office in regard tb the
<br />small dairies and goat farms located within the city.limits; the Board of•Health
<br />would recommend that the Board of Trustees bass anew ordinance,to-wit;
<br />That the pig ordinance be amended to include the entire city limits.
<br />That ail persons within the city limits be only allowed to keep one cow
<br />and one goat, and that only by a permit issued by the Health Officer,said permit•
<br />to be revoked for any reason where the premises were not kept in,a sanitary condition.
<br />Hoping this will meet with the approval of the Board,

<br />On motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Kreiss, the City 4ttorney be
<br />instructed to draw -up an Ordinance in accordance with the above request,Motion Carried.
<br />Application of the Pacific Gas & Electric'Company for permission to set 5 poles on
<br />Clinton Street and Harrison Aven1e,as per BLUE PRINT # 577-R was on moti on.of Trustee
<br />Ylabie,seconded by Trustee Tuchsen,said permit be grantsbd. Motion Carried.
<br />Application of the I.K.0.Z.Club of the Sequoia Union High School for a permit to hold
<br />a twelve o'clock dance in the Woman's Club House Fr'iday evening February I0th,1922 was on
<br />motion of Trustee McNulty,seconded by Trustee Mabie said permit be granted.Motion Carried.
<br />Application of SoWeisman of 480 Ellis Street,San Francisco for a permit to hold a
<br />dance in Forester's Hall until i o'clock Saturday evening February 18th,I922 was on motion
<br />of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Kreiss and carried same be granted..
<br />Application of Court Madrone # 158 Hall Assn, for a permit to hold a one o'clock dance
<br />in Foreter's Hall February 25th.1922,said permit was grMtecd on motion of Trustee Kriess,
<br />seconded by Trustee Mabie and carried.
