372 <br />Application of S.Weissman for a permit to hold a one o'clock dance in Forester's Hall <br />Saturday evening April Ist.1922 was on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Kreiss, <br />said permit be granted. <br />Application of J.Guffanti for a permit to hold a twelve o'clock dance at 130¢ State <br />Highkay on Saturday evenings of March 25th. and April Ist.I922 was on motion of Trustee <br />Mabie,seconded by Trustee XcNulty said permits be granted. <br />Moved by Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee McNulty, the Native Daughters be allowed <br />the privelege of planting a tree in the City Hall, grounds, Motion Carried. <br />On motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Mabie and carried, the Fire Department <br />be authorized to purchase a four way coupling. <br />Complaint of fuel oil along the gutter on Pine Street was on motion of Trustee McNulty, <br />seconded by Trustee Mabie ,same be referred to the City Engineer to see what remedy can <br />be used in the matter and report at next meeting,Motion Carried. <br />Trustee McNulty offers the following Resolution and moves .its adoption,Trustee Kreiss <br />seconds the motion. <br />WHEREAS, C.H.Holt has this day presented to the Board of Trustees of the Town of <br />Redwood City,State of California, a certain. map entitled ItJefferson Acres; and <br />WHEREAS,said map is prepared in all respects as required by law;- <br />NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED, that the following streets or avenues as shown and <br />designated on this map be anddthe same.are hereby accepted on behalf of the public by <br />the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City,as dedicated to public use, and the <br />Clerk of this Board is hereby directed to endorse upon said map such acceptance, - <br />viz; Madison Avenue from the northeasterly line of Hawes Street to the Southwesterly <br />line of Fulton Street, -Iris Street from the Southeasterly line of Jefferson Avenue to <br />the northwesterly line of Madison Avenue as above outlined; -Hudson Street from the <br />northwesterly line of Vera Avenue to the southeasterly line of Madison Avenue as above <br />outlined. <br />Ayes. <br />Trustees Carl K.Mabie,Geo.yl.McNulty,Geo.A,Kreiss.M.E.Ryan. <br />-o------------------------------------------------------- <br />N es,Trustees,None. <br />------------ <br />M.E.Ryan. <br />---------------------- -------------------- <br />Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the <br />Town of Redwood City,State of California. <br />0 <br />Trustee Mabie moves we do now adjourn to Monday March 27th,1922 at 7-30 o'clock P.M. <br />Motion.garried. <br />City Clerk, <br />Ij <br />I <br />i <br />
