<br />Notice is hereby given that all persons interested and objecting to the closing and vacati4l;
<br />of said portion of I,1aple street hereinbefore herein described,are hereby notified to file
<br />their objections in writing,in the office of and with the Clerk of the Town of Redwood
<br />City,as Clerk of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City,as required by law.
<br />The Superintendent of Streets of said Town of Redwood City,is hereby ordered and direct-
<br />ed to immediately cause to be conspicuously posted on all frontages of that portion of
<br />I,iaple street proposed to be closed and vacated,notices of the passage of this Resolution
<br />of Intention No.D-¢ in the manner and for the period required by law, and also to cause a
<br />notice similes in substance to be published in the Redwood City Standard,a weekly newspaper
<br />published,printed and circulated in said Town of Redwood City,for the period required by law.
<br />The Redwbod City Standard,a weekly newspaper of general circulation published,printed
<br />and circulated in said Tow= of Redwood City,(there being no daily or semi-weekly newspaper
<br />published therein),is hereby designated as the newspaper in which to publish the notice of
<br />,the Superintendent of Streets of the passage of this Resolution of Intention No.D-¢,in re-
<br />lation to the closing and vacating as a public street and highway of the hereinbefore de-
<br />scribed portion of I7aple Street in daid. Town of Redwood City.
<br />And said Board of Trustees does hereby determine and declare that it is unnecessary to
<br />,levy any assessment to provide for t1m work of closing and vacating the said hereinbefore
<br />descrii;ed portion of I,Iaple Street in said Town of Redwood City.
<br />The work of closing herein described shall be done in pursuance of and in conformity
<br />with an"Act of the Legislature of the State of California,entitled.,"An Act to provide for
<br />laying out, opening, e:fiend-Lng,widening,straightening,or closing up in whole or in part any
<br />street,square,lane,alley,court or place within,municipalities," and to condemn and acquire
<br />zany and all land and property necessary or convenient for that purpose,"approved ISarch 6th.
<br />1889, and found in the Statutes of I689 of Claiforni4at page 70,and all amendments thereto.
<br />Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the To= of Redwood Cityat a regular meeting
<br />of said Board held on the Ist.day of I.Iay,1922,by the followi4g vote;
