<br />Regular adjourned meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town. of Redwood City held.
<br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees, President G.W.McHulty,Carl g.Mabie,H.C.Tuchsen,
<br />H.A.Beeger,M.E.Ryan,Clerk W.A.Price.
<br />Moved by Trustee Beeger,seeonded by Trustee Mabie,minutes of regular meeting held June
<br />19th.1922,be dispensed with,Motion Carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Beeger, the City Engineer be instructed
<br />to prepare PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS for the eewering of Jefferson Acres, and present same
<br />at next meeting, Motion Carried.
<br />Application of the Pacific Gas & Electric Companyfor a pe:rmit to set two poles on
<br />s
<br />Cleveland Street as per BLUE PRINT # 630 R- was on motion of Trustee 42uchsen,seconded by
<br />i. Trustee Mabie same be granted,Motion Carried.
<br />jOn motion of Trustee Beeger,seconded by Trustee Mabie and carried, the Board in behalf
<br />of the Town of Redwood City accept the Segrave Triple Combination Pumper and Chemical
<br />Engine.
<br />Moved by Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Beeger and carried a warrant In the amount
<br />of �, 6500.00 be drawn in favor of the Segrave Company,same be initial payment on account
<br />of 0 13,000.00 purchase price and according to contract,
<br />Application of E.F.Curtis for water connection on Dee Tract,was on motion of Trustee
<br />Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Mabie same be received and filed,Motion Carried.

<br />f Chairman Geo.W.McNulty presents the names of Henry 1' �.Walker,reappointed and Archer
<br />Kincaid as Trustees of the Public Free Library,terms to commence July Ist.1922*,Whereupon

<br />Trustee Tuchsen,moves,seconded by Trustee Mabie, the Board endorse said appointments,
<br />Motion Carried.
<br />Affidavit of Jas.D.Hedge in the matter of Publishing and affidavit of Edward Dearbern
<br />Supt.of Streets in the matter of Posting notices under Resolution of,Intention No.D-6-
<br />Oak Knoll Manor sewers was on motion of Trustee Tuchsen, seconded by Trustee Mabie same be
<br />received and filed, IuIotion Carried.
<br />Trustee Mabie offers the following Resolution and moves its adoption, Trustee Tuchsen
<br />seconds the motion,I.4otion Carried.
<br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE WORK NO.D-6.
<br />RESOLVED, that whereas the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City,did,nn the 5th,
<br />day of June ,1922 pass and adopt its Resolution of Intention No.D-6,to order the herein-
<br />after described work to be dnae and improvements to be made in said Town.,whichesolution
<br />of Intention No.D.6 was duly and legally published as required by law,as appearifrom the
<br />I
<br />affidavit of Jas.D.Hodge, now on file in thea office of the Clerk of the Town of Redwood
<br />City; and

<br />WHEREAS, after the passage of said Resolution of Intention No.D-6 notices of the
<br />passage thereof were duly and legally posted along the line of said contemplated work and
<br />improvements and in front of all property liable to be assessed therefor,in form,number,
<br />"-
<br />manner and time regAired by law,said notices being headed "NOTICE OF IMPROVEMENT", all as
<br />ap-ears from the aifi.davit of Edward Dearborn,Street Superintendent of said Town,which
<br />affidavit is now on file in the office of the Clerk of saicl„Town; and

<br />VnIEREIiS,it appears from said affidavit of said Edward Dearborn,Street Superintendent,
<br />hereinbefore referred, that the posting of said notices of Improvement as aforesaid was
<br />completed on the day of June,1922, and
<br />WHERakS, at the time -fixed in said Resolution of Intention No -D-6 and in the notices of

<br />the passage thereof,when and where any person or persons interested in said work and improvE
<br />ments could appear before the Board of Trustees of said Town of Redwood City, and show
<br />cause why said proposed work and improvements should not be carried out in accordance with
<br />said Resolution of Intention No.D.6,np parson or persons ap eared and no protests or ob-
<br />jections of any kind were made or filed; and said Board of Trustees now having acquired
<br />a
<br />jurisdiction to order said work and improvements.
<br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, that
<br />the public interest and convenience require the work and improvements herein described, and
<br />the Board of Trustees of said Town hereby orders the following work to be done and ltmprove-
<br />ments to be made in said Town of Redwood City,to-wit;
