<br />Trustee Beeger,seconded by Trustee Ryan,be again laid over until next meeting to be held

<br />On motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Beeger, the Clerk be instructed to write
<br />Mr.D,B.Harding, the cost of sewer to Bot 7,Block 13,Oorner of Hilton and Cassia Streets
<br />is OVIO0.00,11otion Carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee Beeger,seconded by Trustee Ryan, the Supt.of Streets be authorized
<br />to have:.oneodf:his:men burn up the garbage at the City Aumps,Motion Carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee Beeger,seconded by Trustee Ryan and carried, the Supt,of Streets
<br />be instructed to have the sidewalk on the soutYiside of Grant Avenue between Woodside
<br />Road and Addison Street repaired, Motion Carried.
<br />Trustee Ryan offers the following Ordinance and moves its adoption,Trustee Beeger

<br />An Ordinance amending an Ordinance entitled," Ordinance No,227,An Ordinance Regulating
<br />the Construction,erection,enlargement,raising,alteration,repair,removal;maintenance,use
<br />and height of buildings in the Town of Redwood City,County of San Mateo,State -)f Californ-
<br />is",passed and adopted on the 8th,day of May,1922.
<br />The Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City do ordain as follows,to-wit;
<br />Section I. Section II of an Ordinance of the Gown of Redwood City,entitApd,"Ordinance No.
<br />227,An Ordinance regulating the construction,erection,enlargement,raising,alteration,repa_r
<br />maintenance,use and height of buildings in the Town of Redwood City,County of San Mateo,
<br />State of California fir , passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of said Town on the 8th.
<br />day of Mayg1922,is hereby am,endeddto read as follows,to-wit;
<br />Section II. Fees for Permits.
<br />The applicant or applicants for such building, -,permit shall pay to the Board of
<br />Trustees for expenses of inspection and examination of the building and plans and spec-
<br />ificattons the sum of two ($ 2.00) dollars for each thousand ($ 1000.00)dollars pr
<br />fraction thereof of the estdmated cost,except where the estaimated cost is less than three;
<br />hundred ($ 300,00) dollars,in which case the charge for a permit shall be fifty ($-50)
<br />cents,
<br />Section 2, All Ordinance or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are
<br />hereby repealed.
<br />Section 3. This ordinance shall be published once in the Redwood City Standard, a weekly
<br />newspaper published,printed and circulated in said Town of Redwood City and shall take
<br />effect aid be in force from and after thirty(30) days after'its passage,
<br />Introduced this IOth,day of July,1922.
<br />Passed and adopted as an Ordinance of the Town of Redwood City by the Board of Trustees
<br />of said Town at a regular meeting of said Board held on the 17th.day of Julyg1922,by the
<br />following vote;
