<br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City held,

<br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees; -Carl K.I,2abie,H.A.Beeger,jj,E.Ryan, Cit y Clerk
<br />W.A.Price,Absent Trustee G.W.McNulty.

<br />Chairman G.W.MeNulty being absent,it was on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by
<br />Trustee Mabie';Trustee Beeger act as Chairman pro-tem,Motion Carried,
<br />Minutes of regular meeting held August 7th. and adjourned meeting held August I¢th,
<br />1922 was read, and on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Mabie,same be approved
<br />as readjvlotion Carried,
<br />Application of the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company for permission to excavate
<br />certain streets $n the Town of Redwood City,as per BLUE PRINT Drawing C.D.P.# 2926C9filed
<br />by said Company for the purpose of installing creosoled wood duct,concluit,manholes and iron
<br />f
<br />pipe,was on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Habie,said application be.granted-
<br />?
<br />with the understanding they farnish to the Town of Redwood City, a bond in the amount of

<br />One Thbusand (tip 1,000) Dollars for the guarantee of replacing and maintaining the
<br />of said streets in the same condition they are now,Motion Carried.

<br />Application of the Pacific Telegraph and Telephone Company for permission to set

<br />and replace poles on certain streets'in the Town of Redwood City,was on motion of Trustee
<br />Ryan,seconded by Trustee Ilabie,said application be referred to said Company for a blue

<br />print or drawing showing the exact location of said poles,also to inform said Company no

<br />poles will be allowed on Winslow Street,between Broadway and the Southern Pacific right of

<br />way,Motion Carried,
<br />A petition was received from eight property owners facing on Davis street between
<br />i
<br />Roosevelt and Oak Avenues,respectiully requesting action to be taken to have said street
<br />macadamizea.,was on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Mabie,said petition be
<br />referred to City Attorney as d City Engineeripto be included with the Roosevelt Avenue im-
<br />provements,I,Iotion Carried.
<br />Communication was received from Mr. J.C.Dickey,Supt,of Mosquito Abatement District,
<br />stating the Chestnut Street Sewer outlet about half way across the marsh was broken,Supt.
<br />of Streets Dearborn reported he had investigated same and found the cause to be water and
<br />sewerage from the PlantlRubber and Asbestos Works,on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by
<br />Trustee Mabie, the communication be received and filed, and the clerk be instructed to
<br />notify llr.Dickey,Supt.of Streets Dearborn report.lotion Carried.
<br />Report of Inspection by the Railroad Commission of Electric Line facilities in this
<br />City giving the infraction on the syst,em,was on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee
<br />a
<br />Mabie, said report be received and filed, and referred to City Electrician and City Engineer
<br />for cost of the work required and report back at next meeting,Motion Carried.
