482 <br />Redwood City,Sept.18th.1922,8 o'clock P.Ivi. <br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City held. <br />Upon roll call there.were present Trustees; -President G.W.McNulty,Carl x.Mabie,H.A. <br />Beeger, M.'E.g4ia^n.A;Cit1 .01e: 3°i.A•Price. <br />Minutes of regular meeting held September 5th.1922 were read abd on motion of Trustee <br />Mabie,seconded by Trustee Beeger same be approved as read.Motion Carried. <br />Application of Redwood Parlor No66,S.S.G.W. for a permit to hold a one o'llock dance <br />in Forester's Hall on-Satmrday evening September 3oth.1922,was granted on motion of' Trustee <br />Ryan,seconded by Trustee Mabie. <br />Communication from Thomas H.Meek Public Accountant informing the Board he would audit <br />the books of the.City for the sum of $ ¢00.00 was on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by <br />Trustee Rya4ame be received and filed,Motion Carried. <br />Application of T.C.Wood for permission to remove four trees on west side of Block 8, <br />facing the State Highway,was on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Ryan,said <br />permissioo, be granted.Motion Carried. <br />Communication from H.P.Umbsen protesting against the condition the Contractor left <br />the streets in West Redwood Tract,when putting in the sewers was on motion of Trustee <br />Ryan,seconded by Tr.autee Beeger,same be received and filed,and the same be referred to the <br />Supt.of Streets,Motion Carried. <br />Application of the Pacifie Tel & Tel Company for permission to set poles on different <br />streets In the City in accordance with map filed by said Company,was on motion of Trustee <br />Mabie,seeonded by Trustee Beeger said permission be granted,provided they do not duplieatee <br />i <br />poles on the same side of the street,Motion Carried. <br />On motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Beeger, the City Attorney and City <br />Electrician be instructed to prepare an Ordinance in regards to regulating the placing and <br />contacting of poleg within the City Limits,Motion Carried. <br />A bond was received from the Pacific Tel & Tel Compamy to guarantee the replacing of <br />streets in the same condition they were before,was on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by <br />Trustee Beeger same be received and filed, and said bond be returned for correction as it <br />does not apply to the maintenance of the macadamized strects,Motion Carried. <br />Trustee Ryan offers the following Resolution and moves its adoption, Trustee Mabie <br />seconds the motion. <br />RESOLUTION,FIXING TAX RATE FOR THE TOWN OF REDWOOD CITY FOR THE <br />CURRENT YEAR 1922-1923 <br />RESOLVED,by the IBoard of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City that the rate of taxes <br />upon each 0 100 of the assessed valuation of the property within said Town of Redwood City, <br />for the current year 1922-1923 for the payment of the Municipal Improvement Bonds of 1905 <br />pf said Town.falling due and becoming payable during said year together with the interest <br />thereon is hereby fixed at fourteen (2¢) cents; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the rate of tares upon each I00 of the assessed valuation of <br />the property within said Town of Redwood City for the currentnyear 19.2-1923 for the payment <br />of the Extension of Water System Bonds of said Town falling due and becoming payable during <br />said year together with the interest thereon is hereby fixed at three (3) cents and five <br />(5) mills; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the rate of taxes upon each ya I00 of the assessed valuation of <br />the property within said Town of Redwodd City for the current year 1922-1923 for the payment <br />of the I,Iunicipal Improvement Bonds Of 1920 of said Town falling due and 'becoming payable <br />during said year together with the interest thereon is hereby fixed at seven (7) cents; and <br />i <br />
