I <br />Redwood City,Ilovember 20th.1922,7-30 o'clock P. ri <br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City held. <br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees"; -President G.7141cNulty,Oarl $.Mabie,H.A. <br />Beeger J'I.B.Ryan, City Clerk W.A.Price. <br />Minutes of regular meeting of November 6th.1922'were read and on.motioh of Trustee <br />Ryan,seconded by Trustee Beeger same be approved as read9ldotion Carried* <br />Application of the Pacific Gas & Electric Company for permission to contact on one <br />pole belonging to the Tosco of Redwood City on Webster Street,as per BLUE PRINT #'679 R. <br />vras on m.otion of Trustee Beeger,seconded by Trustee Ryan and carried said permission be <br />granted.. <br />Application of the Pacific Gas, & Electric Company for permission to set, one pole' on <br />Bradford Street as per BLUE PRINT 71 665-R --*to set one pole on Spruce Street as PER BLUE <br />PRINT. # 667-R; also to set 6 poles on Eaton Avenue as per BLUE PRINT 6$2-R;wa.s on <br />motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Beeger all 62 said permits be grahted,Motion <br />Carried. <br />Communication from the Southern Pacific Company regards to the improvement of the <br />sidewalks along Railroad Avenue was on motion of Trustee Beeger,seconded by Trustee Ryan,. <br />the Clerk be instructed to write said Company notifing them the improvement suggested -in <br />said co=unication was satisfactory to the Board,Motion Carried. <br />On motion of Trustee Beeger,seconded by Trustee Ryan and carried, the City ddnate <br />Fifty (0 50.00) Dollars to the Redwood City Chamber of Commerce towards paying the cost <br />of a float that appeared in Armistice Day Parade. <br />Application of S.Weissman for a permit to hold a one o'clock dance in Forester's <br />Hall on Saturday evening December 16th.1922 was on motion of Trustee Beeger,seconded'by <br />T-r;astee Ryan, said permit be granted.Motion Carried. <br />Application of I1orvin Grove # 52,U.A.O.D.for a permit to hold a three o'clock Dance <br />in Forester's Hall Saturday evening December 23rd.1922 was on motion of Trustee Ryan, <br />seconded by Trustee Beeger and carried same be granted. <br />On motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Beeger the City Electrician be authoriz <br />ed to install one street light on Ramona Streot,north of Roosevelt Avenue,one street light <br />on Oliver Street,south og Roosevelt Avenue,one Street light at the intersection of Harrison <br />Avenue and Clinton Street,also one street light at the intersection of Eaton and Samson <br />Strects,same not to exceed the price of Two hundred and thirty (4 230.00) Dollars,Iviotion <br />Carried. <br />Moved by Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Beeger and carried, the Clerk be instructed <br />to write a personal letter to ldr.uellogg manager of the Pacific Gas & Electric Company <br />asking him if he cannot rush the work on the City Lighting and fire alarm system,in accord- <br />ance to the requirements of the Railroad Commission, Motion Carried. <br />Ivioved. by Trustee Beeger, seconded by Trustee Ryan, the City Clerk be requested to write <br />the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company,it is the desire of the Board that said Company <br />paint all of their poles green, along the State Highway inside the City Limits,also all <br />poles along Main Street from the Railroad crossing to Five Points, Motion Carried. <br />On motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Beeger,in answer to complaints coming to <br />members of the Board, the Clerk be instructed to write the Southern Pacific Company re- <br />questing them to remove the bells at the Beech and Cedar Streets railroad crossings and <br />install glagmen instead,also.to have a tower erected at the junction of the Main track <br />and Dumbarton out off,thereby doing away with blocking of the street crossing in that <br />40 <br />1 <br />f <br />i <br />I <br />I <br />Redwood City,Ilovember 20th.1922,7-30 o'clock P. ri <br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City held. <br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees";
