<br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City held.
<br />Upon roll call there were present, Trustees -President G:W.MeNulty,Carl K.Mabie,A.E.Idonteith,
<br />I
<br />H.A.Beeger,M.E.Ryan,City Clerk W.A.Price.
<br />Minutes of regular meeting held May 7th.1923 were read and on motion of Trustee Beeger,
<br />seconded by Trustee Mabie same be approved as read, Motion Carried.
<br />Communication from C.D.Swett in regards to handling some of the fire insurance on the
<br />fire house was on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Beeger same be received and
<br />filed for future reference, Motion garribd:
<br />Application of Mrs.J.Cappini for a permit to move a small building from the Kentfield �4

<br />tract to Manzanita street ,on repo*t of Building Inspector Drathman stating the building
<br />could not be improved to comply with the building ordinance it was .on motion of Trustee
<br />Ryan,seconded by Trustee Beeger,the permit be denied.i,+i.otion 8arried.
<br />Communication from'the 041ifornia Conference of Seventh Day_adventists of Oakland ,Cal.

<br />asking the City if they had a site to offer for the holding of their annual meeting from 1
<br />.August 9th.to August 19th.1923,1748 on motion of Trustee Beeger,seconded,by Trustee Mabie,
<br />said communication be referred to the Redwood City Chamber of Commerce,I1otion Carried.
<br />Application of the San Bruno Electric Company for a permit to do electrical work in the
<br />Towns of Redwood was on motion'of Trustee Mabie,sbconded by Trustee Rran,same be granted,
<br />Motion Carried.
<br />Application of the Court Madrone No.158 F.of A. for a permit to hold a dance in Forestex's
<br />Hall Saturday evening June 16th.1923,was on motion oi' Trustee Mabie seconded by Trustee
<br />Monteith same be granted. Motion Carried.
<br />A communication from Iuirs.Ethel Frances Prestis of Denver Colo owner -of the White Oaks
<br />tract suggesting to the Board they consider the annexing of said tract to the Town. of
<br />Redwood City,was on motion of Trustee Iolabie,seeonded by Trustee Monteith said eommunicatior
<br />be referred to City Attorney Mansfield to take up the•matter with 1drs.Prentis`: ,11otion
<br />Carried.
<br />Application of E.B.Fox local agent for the Fireman's Fund Insurance Company for the 're-
<br />newal of fire insurance on Schneer fire engine in the sum of 0 2800.00 was on motion of
<br />Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Ryan,and carried.Mr.Fox be given the renewal.
<br />A bill of $ I20.00 was presented to the Board by I,Ir.M.J.i3essick for damage done his
<br />property by the overflow of the reservoir,was on motion of Trustee Ryan,seeonded by Trustee
<br />a
<br />Monteith, the Clerk be instructed to present the bill to the Redwood City Mater Works Cc
<br />as it was their fault in the reservoir overflowing also to ask them.to put on an additioha]
<br />man to look after the pumps in order to do away with the same trouble in the fature,Motion
<br />Carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee Monteith,seconded by Trustee Mabie,Mr.A.B.Hood whose residence is
<br />on Brewster avenue just outside the City Limits be granted permission to connect with the
<br />main sewer on Brewster avenue,also water connection,connections to be revoked at any time,
<br />Motion Carried.
<br />Moved by Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Itiionteith,in the future a maintance charge of
<br />0 25.00 be made for sewer connection outside of ',he City limits,same not to include cost
<br />of connection,I"lotion Uarried.
<br />Moved by Trustee I,Tabie,seconded by Trustee Beeger and carried, the donation of a flag
<br />by Mr.Miller of the National Magnessia Company for the pole at Broadway and main street
<br />be: accepted.
<br />On motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee. Ryan and carried the Chairman be authorize -d
