Upon roll call there were present Trustees;- President G.W.MclTulty,Carl S.Tdabie,H.A.Beeger, City Clerk 71.A.Price. Absent, Trustees,A.E.ilTonteith,IT.E.Ryan. Moved by Trustee Beeger,seconded by Trustee Mabie and carried, the minutes of July 2nd.July 16th. and August 6th.1923 be dispensed vrit�x until next regtilar meating. Moved by Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Beeger and carried,Chief of Police Collins be authorized to purchase, a 1924 Harley-Davidson Motor Cycle,in 'the sum of 7454.50• Affidavit of Jas.D.Hedge in the matter of publishing and affidavit of C.L.Dimmitt Supt.of Streets in the matter of posting notices of improvements under -Resolution of Inte,_tion No.F-9-vra.s on motion, of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trus -'L ee Beeger and carried same be received and filed. There being no protests, against 'the improvements under Resolution of Intention No. F-9,Trustee Beeger offers the following Resolution and moves its adoption, Trustee Mabie seconds the moti.on.I:Iotion Carried. RESOLUTION ORDERING THE 1ORK NO. F- 9. RESOLVED, that whereas -the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, did, on the 16th day of July, 1923, pass and adopt its Resolution of Intention No. F-9 to order the hereinafter described work to be done and improvements to be made in said Town of Redwood City, which Resolution of Intention No, F-9 was duly and legally published as required by law as appears from affidavit of J.D.Hedge,-now on file in the office of the Clerk of the Town. of Redwood City; and IMEREAS, notices of the passage off said Resolution of Intention No. F-9, headed "NOTICE OF IMPROVEErTT'? were duly and legally posted along the line of said contemplated work and improvements and in front of all property liable to be assessed and upon all the street in the district to be assessed in time, form, manner and number as required by law as appears from affidavit of C.L.Dimmitt, Street Superintendent of the Town of Redwood City, and now on file in the office of the Clerk of said Town; and MIERE&S9 it appears from said affidavit of C.L.Dimmitt, said Street Superintendent, as aforesaid that the posting of said notices of improvement as aforesaid was completed on the 31st day of July, 1923; and -WHEREAS; at the time and place fixed in said Resolution of Intention No. F-9.and iz the notice of the passage thereof so posted as aforesaid when and where any and all persona having any objection to the proposed work and improvements described therein or to the proposed grades at which said work and improvements is to be done and -made could appear before the Board of Trustees of the Tovm of Redvrood. City and show cause why said work and improvements should not be carried out according to said Resolution of Intention No, F-9, or why said work and improvements should not be made and done at the proposed grades shown on the plans and specifications therefor now on file in the office of the Clerk of the Town of Redwood City, no person or persons appeared and no objections of any kind were mad3 against said work and improvements or against said proposed grades and said Board of Trustr3es now having acquired the jurisdiction to order said work and improvements, therefor be it RESOLVED, that the public interest and convenience require the work and improveme_its herein described, and the Board of Trustees of the Tovm of Redwood City hereby orders the following work to be done and improvements to be made in said Tovm of Redwood City, to -wit; 1H 11
