W, <br />Redwood 01ty,Deoember IOthor923,7-300'clock. <br />Regular adjourned meeting of the Board of Trustees held. <br />Upon roll call there were present ,Trustees;-President.G.W.MoNulty,0.$.Mabie,A.E.Montaith,, <br />H.A.Beeger,M.E.Ryan,Clerk W.A.Price. <br />Delegates from the Redwood City Fire Department appeared and presented to the Board the <br />following names of Officers elected by said Department for the year 1924, <br />Chief of Fire Dept* -------- M.E.Ryan. <br />Ist.Asent.Chief------- C.E.Choate. <br />2nd. " "------- P.J,Larreeou <br />Seot.& Treasurer ------- A.S:Zigouri <br />On motion of Trustee Beeger, seconded by Trustee Mabie and, carried the selection of the <br />officers of the Redwood City Ftxv Department be accepted by the Boaird,also the Board <br />extend a vote of thanks to Chief Ryan and all,members of the Fire -Department. <br />The annual report of Fite Chief M.E:Ryan for the year 1923 was read and'on motion of <br />Trustee Beeger,seoonded by -Trustee Monteith said report be received and filed with thanks, <br />Motion Qarried. <br />Moved by Trustee Monteith,seconded by Trustei'1*abie and carried the Fire Department be <br />authorized to purchase a 35 toot extension ladder, and also have a telephone extension <br />installed up -stairs in the meeting room. <br />Moved by Trustee Mabie,seeonded by Trustee Monteith•and carried the Board make their <br />usual purchase in the amount of Ten Dollars of Christmas seals from the San Mateo Assn* <br />for prevention of Tuberculosis. <br />Moved by Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Monteith and oarried,W.A.Dontanvi11e,0on- <br />tractor be allowed an extension of sixty days forthe fulfillment of his contract for the <br />improvement of Jefferson Avenue. <br />Application of Jos.A.Bertolueoi eV &1 for an'invitation dance(No admission charge) in <br />I.O.O.F.
