<br />H.A.Beeger,M.E.Ryan,Clerk W.A.Price.
<br />Minutes of regular meeting held•Deoeipher 17th,1923 were read and on motion of Trustee
<br />Mabie,seoonded by Trustee Beeger and carried same be approved as read.

<br />and affidavit of W.A.Price clerk in the matter of posting hotios of the filing of assess -
<br />went .for the work under Resolution of Intention No.F-8 was on motion of Trustee Mabie,
<br />seconded by Trustee*Monteith and carried be•received and filed.
<br />Trustee Ryan_14 ers the following Resolution and moves.its adoption,Trustee Beeger

<br />f' RESOLUTION CONFIRMING 'ASSESSMENT.
<br />RESOLVED by the Board of .Trustees • of the Town Of•Redwro6d `City,County`. of •San-Mateb,State of
<br />Califoinia,did on the 18th.day of June,19239pass and. adopt.Resolution.of Intention No.F-
<br />8 for the improvement, of Jefferson Avenue in said Town from the northerly line of Adams
<br />street to the sout herly line of Myrtle street;,and _
<br />•WBEREAS,W.A.Dontanville,did on the 22nd.day of AUgUett1923oduly and regularljr enter into
<br />an agreement with C.L.Dimmitt,Street Superintendent of the Town of Redwood City for the
<br />doing of the work described in said Resolution of Intention No.F-89pursuant to an award
<br />theretofore duly and regularly made by the Board of Trustees of -said Town; and
<br />WHEREAS, 411 of the said street work mentioned and described in said Resolution of Inten-
<br />tion No.F-8 has been completed and there has heretofore and on the.l8th.day of December,
<br />19239been filed in the office of the. Clerk of said Town of Redwood City,an assessment for !
<br />said work pursuant to the Improyement_Act.of_191I;.and
<br />WHEREAS, the Clerk of the Town of Redwood City,has and did heretofore fix Monday the 7th,
<br />day of January,1924,4t the hoot of 7.30'otclock P.M. of said day as the time when all
<br />persons.interested in the work d..one_ox in -the said assessment would be heard by the Board
<br />of Trustees of 'said Town; and
<br />WHEREAS said Clerk has caused'a notioe of the filing of said assessment and of said hearing
<br />fo be published twice in the Redwood City Standard, a newspaper published in said Town; -
<br />the first of whicU publication was more than 15 days before the day set for said hearing,`
<br />as appears from the affidavit of J,D.Hedge,now on file in the office of the,Clerk of said j
<br />Town; and
<br />WHERP.AS,said•Clerk also posted a notice of the filing of said assessment and of said hearinO f
<br />near the council chamber door of the Board of Trustees of said Toevm,as required by law,as
<br />appears from the affidavit -of W.A.Prioe,now on file in the office of the Clerk of said Town;
<br />an
<br />WHEREAS, the Clerk of said Town also mailed,a,ppet card notice of the filing of said
<br />assessment and of the hearing thereon to the owners of each and every lotoassessed for said
<br />work,according to the name and address of said owners appearing on the.last equalized
<br />assessment roll for Town Taxes,as required by law,as appears from the affidavit -of W.A.
<br />Price now on file in the office of the Clerk of said Town;.
<br />And this being the time fixed for said hearing and of hearing any objection to the said
<br />assessment or to the said work and no'persons appaaring and no objections of any kind being
<br />made to said assessment or to the said work, and°said.Board of Trustees now having -acquired
<br />jurdisdiction over said assessment.
<br />IT I3 HEREBY RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, that the
<br />assessment herein mentioned for the street work done under and pursuant -to and as described
<br />in Resolution of Intention No.F-8 which Resolution of Intention is now -on file in the
<br />office of the Clerk of said Town and to. which•reference is hereby made for a fatther des-
<br />cription and location of said *oak.be and the same is hereby confirmed.

<br />Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City at the gour of 9
<br />o'clock P.M.at a regular meeting of said Board held on the 7th.day of January,19249by the
<br />following vote.
