Upon roll call there were present; Trustees; President G.W.MoNulty,C.g.Mabie,A.A.Monteith, H.A.Beeger,M.E.Ryan,Clerk W#A.Price. On motion of Trustee Beeger.seeonded by Trustee Monteith and carried, the minutes ae Febraary 7th.1924 be dispensed with until nest regular meeting. Moved by Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Monteith ano carried all bids weceived for galvanized water pipe and fittings be re'jeeted,•and all'oertified cheeks be returned, ea d re -advertise for new bids,same be opend on March 3rd.1924 at 7-30 'clock P.M. On motion of Trustee Neeger,seconded by Trustee Mabie and carried, the Board reeind the foregoing motion previously made. On motion of Trustee Mabie',seconded by Trustee Monteith and carried.,Mark-Lally Company, j be allowed to withdraw their bid, Moved by.Trastee Beeger,seeo nded by Trustee Monteith and carried, the: contract for f'1 galvanized water pipe and fittings be awarded to the California Steam and Plumbing Supply I Company, they being the lowest bidder in the amount of $ 29632909. i On motion of Trustee Monteith.secanded by Trustee Mabie and carried, the clerk' be in- structed to return all certified ctLecks to the unsuccessfil bidders. Trastee Ryan offers Ordinance No.242 and moves its Introduction,An Ordinance establash- ing election precinsts for special election,Trustee Beeger seconds the motion.Motion Car rid.' Moved by Trustee Ryan,seoonded by Trustee Monteith and carried Redwood City # 168 E. and A.M. be granted a permit to give a twelve o'clock dance in Masonic Hall Saturday eve February 16th.1924, On'motion of Trustee Mabie,secmnded by Trustee Monteith the President and Clerk of the Board be authorized to sign a deed transferring back to Miss Sallie Nelson a small piece of property at the corner of Main Street and Pennsylvania Avenue.Motion @ar ried. d Moved by Trustee Monteith,seoonded by Trustee Ryan and carried,Chief of Police Collins be authorized to purchase a new Dodge run -about for the police dept.in the amount of $I020. ii On motion of grqstee Monteith,seoonded By Trustee Mabie and earried,Chief Ryan be au- thorized to purchase a new siren in the amount of $ 50.00 for use of the Fire Departmeit . Moved by Trustee Beeger,seconded by Trustee Ryan and carried, the communication from Gordan -Rowe Company in reference to the audit and cost of the City books be received ani filed.
