Redwood City,I1Iarch 3rd.I924,7-3N'clock P.M. <br />Regular meeting of the Board of Town 2ruste•s held. <br />Upon roll call there were present ,Trustees; -President G.W.IvlcNulty,C.K.Mabie,A.E.&Ionteith, <br />H.A,Beeger,Ili.E.Ryan,Clerk W.A.Price. <br />"-owed by Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Beeger abd carried, the application and <br />' Petition of F.A.Dustin for a permit to build a garage on his propjrty fronting on Hilton <br />Street,same be granted. <br />On motion of Trustee Beeger,seconded by Trustee Ryan and carried, the Chairman and Clerk <br />be instructed and given the power to sign a quit claim deed for right of way for railroad. <br />I1oved by Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Monteith and carried, the Chairman be author- <br />ized to send a night letter to Congressman Free at Washington D.C.covering the action of <br />the Board for making a survey for the widening and deepening the Redwood Channel. <br />seconded by Trustee Monteith and carried <br />Roved by Trustee Beeger/City Electrican Collins be instructed to install a street light <br />on Walnut Street,half way between Bradford and Spring Streets. <br />Dn motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Beeger and carried,the folloviing dance <br />permits were granted,to-wit;- <br />Ladies Guild in Woman's Club House Tuesday evening March 4th.twelve o'clock. <br />Redwood City Liberty C1ub,I.0.0.F.Hall,Saturday evening I4arch 8th.1924 one o'clock. <br />Native Sons Golden West # 661in Forester's Hall March 22nd.1924,three o'clock. <br />40 Hommes in Forester's Hall,Saturday evening Klatch 15th.1924, three o'clock. <br />Old Timer's C1ub,Forester's Hall Wednedday evenings,March 5th.I2th.19th.and 26th.1924 until <br />twelve o'clock. <br />Petition was prevented by property owners on Oliver Street requesting action be taken to <br />have the street improved was on motion of Trustee Beeger,seconded by Trustee Monteith and <br />carried same be received and filed. <br />Application of A.Ramazzotti for a Master's Plumber license for the year 1924,was on <br />motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Beeger and carried same be granted. <br />Report of City Recorder Mansfield for fines collected for the year 1923 was received <br />on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Ryan and carried. <br />Communication from the Pacific Gas & Electric Company explaning the delay in installing <br />certain street lights was on motion of Trustee Ryan,seeonded by Trustee Beeger and carried <br />same be received and filed. <br />Moved by Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Ben -ger and carried the continuation of <br />the hearing of the unpaid assessment of Jefferson Avenue improvement to Mareg IOth.1924, <br />Reports of Treasuxer,Tax Collector,Ilarshall,Plumbing,Electr ical and Building Inspector <br />was on motion of Trustee Beeger,seconded by Trustee M,nteith and carried same be received <br />and filed. <br />The following claims were Oked and passed on by the Finance Committee No.863 to 985 Inc. <br />No.863-Dimmitt,C.L.
