<br />Regular adjourned meeting of the Board of Trustees hold.
<br />Upon roll call there were preseiit,Trustees,Rresident G.W.MoNulty,C.S.Mabie,A.E.Monteith,
<br />H.A#Beeger,M.E.Ryan,Clerk W.A.PricQ.
<br />On motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Monteith and carried, the minutes of
<br />regular meeting held March 3rd.1924 be -dispensed with until next regular meeting.
<br />Affidavit of Jas.D.Hegge in the Matter of Publishing notice of Special Municipal election
<br />for purchase of play ground was on motion of Trustee blabie,seconded Trustee Mo nteith and
<br />carried same be received and riled.
<br />This being the time fixed for the canvasing of the returns, of the special Municipal
<br />Bond Election held in the Town of Redwood City on the 3rd.day of March,1924, they were
<br />publicly opened,examined, and the following results were declared by the Board.That the
<br />total number of votes cast was and is Four hundred and ninty(490)

<br />Moved by Trustee Monteith,seconded by Trustee Beeger and carried, the "Yes" vote not having
<br />received the regular two-thords majority vote, the Bond hereby proposed be declared lost.
<br />Application of the Paiefic Gas & Electric Company for a permit to set one pole on Sing
<br />d
<br />Street,as per Blue Print f 849-R.also to contact three poles of the City of Redwood and to
<br />set four poles as per Blue Print #853-R- and also to set one pole on Buckeye Street as
<br />pet Blue Print # 856-R.was on motion pf Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Monteith and
<br />carried said application be granted.
<br />Moved by Trustee Ryan,seeonded by Trustee Monteith and carried, the Clerk be instructed
<br />to return the'claims of Gordan -Rowe Company 'ack to the Bank of Italy,with the instructions
<br />to notify Gordan Rowe Company to present their.olaims in the proper way.
<br />Moved by Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Ryan and carried, the hearing of Jefferson
<br />Avenue improvements unpaid assessments s4id time be extended to March 17th,I924•
<br />On motion of Trustee Ryan,seeonded by Trustee Mabie and carried, the Chairman and Clerk•
<br />be authorized to sign application to the Railroad Commissioners,giving the Town of Redwood
<br />City, the right to purchase the Redwood City Water Company Plant.
<br />On motion of Trustee Beeger,seconded by Trustee Monteith and carried, the City Electrican
<br />( be instructed to install a Street light at the•intersection of James and Clinton Streets.
<br />Trustee Mabie offers the following Resolution and moves its adoption.

<br />WHEREAS, there is to be held in the Town of Redwood City,County of San Hateo,State If,
<br />i California,on Monday the 14th.day of April,1924 a General Municipal Election as provided
<br />by law,now therefore.
<br />The Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City hereby resolves and declares as follows,
<br />' to -wit;
<br />That for the purpose of said General'Municipal Elec..tion to be geld in -said Town Cd Redwoo
<br />City on the 14th.day of April,1924,said Town of Redwojd City is hereby divided into four
<br />Election Precincts to be known as Redwood City Election Precinct No.1,,Re'dviood City
