The following petition was presented to the Board;- To the Members of Redwood City Council; The undersigned desire to petition your honorable Board to secure_ permission to connect a two inch water line to Redwood City's Wager main at corner of Whipple and Ashley Avenues. The supply of water obtained to serve heads of the following who are residents near the junction of Ashley,Britton and Eaton Avenues, H.W.Johum, Chas.H.Morgan Albert E.Cohen. On motion of Trustee Mabie,seeonded by Trustee Ryan and carried, the foregoing petition be granted,same to be under the supervision of Supt.of Water. Moved by Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Ryan, the Trustees of the Sequoia High School be given the privelege to attach on the street light sys#em opposite the school providing the legal rights are O.K. Motion Carried. !j On motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Ryan,the following dance permits beISR1 granted,to-wit;- �9 Mail Carriers in Forester's Hall Saturday evening May 17th.1924,One O'clock. Order of Owls 1 1484 In I.O.O.F.Hall Saturday evening April 26th.1924,T4ree o'clock Bonita Parlor 'IO,N.D.G.W in Forester's Hall April I2th.1924 ,Three o'clock Old Timer's Club in Forester's Hall Wednesday evenings April gth.l6th,23rd.and 30th.until twelve o'clock. The resignation of Dr.Dykes,as health officer of this city was presented to the Board and on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Mabie and earried,said resignation be accepted by the Board,same to take effect May Ist.1924- Applimation of T.M.Gallagher for an extension of Sixty Days on his sewer contract under Resolution of Intention 1fo.F-9 was on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Mabie,same be granted.Motion Carried. The following communisation was received by the Board; - Redwood City,April 7th,1924• Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, Gentlemen;- Lots 18-Ig-Resub of Lot I-W.W.M. Sub. were sold for taxes June 20th.1915, the present owner wished to clear this title,Upon the advise of the City Attorney I accepted the taxes less the delinquent charges and costs.
