<br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City held.
<br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees,President G.W.MoNulty,C.K.Mabie,A.E.Monteith,
<br />H.A.Beeger,M.E.Ryan, City Clerk W.A.Price.
<br />Minutes of April 7th. and 14th,1924 were read and on motion of Trustee Mabie.seconded by
<br />Trustee Beeger same Be approved as'read,Moti n Carried,
<br />Affidavit of Jas.D.Hedge in the matter of Publishing notice calling for sealed bids for
<br />one turbine deep well pump,was on motion of Trustee Ryan,seco nded by Trustee Bee gar ,ssme'-
<br />be received and filed,Motion Carried,
<br />The following bids were received opened,esamined and declared,to-wit;-

<br />Campbell & Budlong being the lowest bidder it was on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by
<br />Trustee Beeger said bid be referred to the City Engineer with full power to aet,if speeif-
<br />ication are correct,Motion Carried.
<br />Moved by Trustee Ryan,seconded by .Trustee Beeger and carried, the certified checks be re-
<br />turned to the unsuccessful bidders.
<br />Application of the Pacific Gas & Electric Company for a permit to set One pole on Harrison
<br />Street,as per BLUE PRINT # 875-R also a permit to eontact.on one pole belonging to the
<br />City as Per BLUE PRINT j 874 was on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Mabie and
<br />carried said permits be granted,
<br />On motion Of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Mabie and carried the following dance permits
<br />were granted,to-wit;-
<br />Old Timers Club in Forester's Hall Saturday evening May 3rd.1924,ons o'clock
<br />Redwood Parlor 66 N.S.G.W.in Forester's Hall Saturday evening April 26th.1924,three o'
<br />Clock.
<br />The O.K.CIub in I.O.O.F.Hall Saturday eveftigg May I0th.1924 one o'clock.
<br />The I.K.O.Z.Club in Forester's Hall Saturday evening May IOth.1924 one o'clock.
<br />Sequoia Alumni Assn,in the pavilion of the New High School Friday evening April 25th.twelve
<br />o'clock,
<br />Moved by Trustee Beeger,seconded by Trustee Monteith and carried, the City Attorney be
<br />instructed to amend the present dance Ordinance granting no dance permits later than one
<br />oiolock.Motion Carried.
<br />Affidavit of Jas.D.Hedge in the matter of Publishing notice of filing of unpaid assessment
<br />and affidavit of W.A.Price ,City Clerk in the matter of Posting near Council Chamber door
<br />of unpaid assessment list of unpaid assessment listnof A.Tischert & Son,Oak Knoll Manor
<br />improvements was on motion of Trustee Monteith,seconded by Trustee Beeger,samme be approved
<br />as read.Motion Carried.
<br />Trustee Monteith offers the following RESOLUTION and moves its adoption Trustee Beeger
<br />seconds trbe motion,Motion Carried.
<br />AN ORDER PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF STREET IMPROVEMENT BONDS PRESCRIBING THE DENOMINAT -
<br />ION OF SUCH BONDS AND OF THE INTERESR COUPONS ATTACHED THERETO.
<br />WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City did,on the 2lst,day of May,19239
<br />pass its Resolution of Intention No.F-7 for the improvement of certain streets in Oak Knoll
<br />Manor in said Town,
<br />under and pursuant to the provision of the "Improvement Act of 191I2, and the amendments
