<br />Communication from A.W.Grimmenstein inquiring when the electric lamp contract expired,
<br />so he would have the opportunity to present bid on same was on motion of Trustee Ryan,
<br />seconded by Trustee Monteith and carried same be received and filed for future reference.
<br />On motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Monteith and carried, the City enter
<br />into an agreement with the Pacific Gas & Electric Company to do away with the Pole Contact
<br />rental,if same is passed on by the City Attorney.
<br />Application of A,Bertolucei for a permit to conduct a delicatessen store and lunch
<br />counter on his property on the corner of Phelps and Laurel Streets was on motion of
<br />Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee McNulty,said application be referred to the Planning
<br />Commissien,Motion-Carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Monteith and carried the following dance
<br />permits were grant;ed,to-wit;-
<br />Old Timer's Club in•Forester's Hall Wednesday evenings June 4th,Uth.i8th.end 25th.19249
<br />until twelve o'clock and one o'clock June 14th.1924.

<br />o'clock.

<br />Moved by Trustee Monteith, seconded by Trustee Ryan and carried ,Mr,A,ToGherini be given
<br />permission to remove the trees in front of his new store on Main: Street.
<br />On motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee MoNulty,and carried tha matter of annex-
<br />ation of the Five Pointe District, also the White Oaks Tract be referred. to Trustee
<br />Monteith and City Engineer Dimmitt to have some. one canvass the two. districts to get the
<br />senitment of the residents of_said districts and report back to the Board ,
<br />On motion of Trustee Monteith,seconded by Trustee Ryan and carried, the City Engineer
<br />and chairman be authorized to sign up a contract for the digging of a new 14 inch well,
<br />and have work commenced as soon as possible.
<br />On motion of Trustee Mabie,seeonded by Trustee Ryan and-earried, the City Clerk be
<br />instructed to purchase a Dodge roadster for use of the Health.Department.
<br />Moved by Trustee McNulty,seconded by Trustee Mabie and carried, the Supt.of Water
<br />bring in a report of what water pipe he wants,so that same can be advertised for.
<br />Moved by Trustee Monteith, seconded by Trustee Mabie and carried,Trustee Ryan and
<br />Health Officer Drathman be instrd.cted to have cards printed in regards to fire prevention
<br />and have them sent out with the water bills,
<br />The following members were appointed by Chairman Beeger on the Health Board, and was
<br />on motion of Trustee McNulty,seconded by Trustee Mabie and carried,the appointments be
<br />approved by the Board;=Dr.F.S.Gregory,A.H.Kincaid,C.L.Collins,M.ErRyan,Jas.D.Hedge, and
<br />Con Drathman Health Officer.
<br />On motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Monteith and carried, the Chief of
<br />Police be authorized to purchase a finger print camera.
<br />Reports of Treasurer,Tax Collector,Building Plumbing,Electrical Inspeetor,and Supt.of
<br />Parks was on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee McNulty and married same be
<br />received and filed.
