2-35 <br />Redwdiod City,Augast 18th.1924,8 otclock P.M. <br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees held. <br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees;Pre'sident H.A.Beeger,C.K.Mabie,M.E.Ryan,Clerk <br />W.A.Price,Absent Trustees A.E.Monteith,G.W.McNulty. <br />Minutes of August 4th,and August IIth,1924 were read and on motion of Trustee Ryan, <br />seconded by Trustee Mabie,same be approved as read,Motion Carried. <br />Moved by Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Mabie and carried, the City Engineer draw <br />up Plans and Specifications for the Improvemeht of Hilton and Cassia Streets. <br />Moved by Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Mabie and carried the Uity Engineer proceed <br />with the Plans and Specifications of the Duane Street ImprovementslMotion Carried. <br />Moved by Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Mabie and carried,tge City Attorney be <br />instructed to draw up an amendment to the present Ordinance regarding location of Sana- <br />toriums and Hospitals etc. <br />Moved by Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee'Ryan, the report of Planning Commission <br />approving the Perry Subdivision and High School Subdivision of Block A.be received and <br />fileci,Motion Earried. <br />On motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Ryan the Salaries of B,.L.Werder and <br />Robert N.Bell be increased to ? 175.00 per month ,same to take effect September Ist.19249 <br />and the hours and shifts said paid firemen be left to the pleasure of Chief Ryan,Motion <br />Carried. <br />On motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Ryan and carried the salary of George <br />Hopkins,Supt.of Parks be increased to $ 175.00 per month,same to take effect September <br />Ist.19249 <br />Application of the Pacific Gas & Electric Company for permission to set one pole on <br />Hillside Avenue as per Blue Print #930 -R -was on motion of Trustee Ryan, seconded by Trustee <br />IuIabie same be granted on the approval of City Electrican Oollins.Motion Carried. <br />Moved by Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Ryan and carried the following dance permits <br />were granted to -wit; <br />Redwood City Liberty C1ub,I.O.O.F.Hall Saturday evening August 30th.1924,one o'clock. <br />The O.K.Club in I.O.O.F.Hall Saturday evening September 6th.1924,one o'clock. <br />T.J.Hallinan,in Forester?s Hall Saturday eveninf September 6th.1924,One o'clock. <br />Moved by Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Mabie and carried,E.M.Dearborn be allowed a <br />claim in the amount of 01,541.25 on Jefferson Avenue Bridge Fund. <br />Trustee Mabie offers Ordinance No. Raising amount of taxes fir year 2924-25 and <br />moves its introduction ,Trustee Ryan secionds the motion,Motion Carried. <br />IJioved by Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Ryan and carried we now adjoutn to August <br />25th.1924, <br />----------- <br />City clerk. <br />
