<br />Upon roll call there were present Trastees,President H.A.Beeger,C.K.Mabie,A.E.Monteith,
<br />G.W.McNulty,M.E,Ryan,Clerk W.A.Price.
<br />Minutes of meeting 73eld August 18th and August 25,tho1924 sere read and on motion of
<br />Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Mabie and carried same he approved as read, i
<br />Moved by Trustee Monteith, seconded by Trustee Ryan the claim of,Gordan Rowe Company
<br />be rejected until suc# time there is an understandixg in regards to the audit of the books,
<br />motion carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Monteith and carried the following
<br />permits were granted the Pacific Gas & Electric Company to wit; -
<br />To set three poles on St.Francis and Quartz Streets as per Blue Print No -933-R.
<br />To contact one pole of the City at Alden and Allerton Streets.
<br />Trustee McNulty offers the following Ordinance No 246 and moves its adoption,Trustee
<br />Monteith seconds the motion,Motion Carried. -

<br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AN OR-
<br />DINANCE ENTITLED, "ORDINANCE
<br />NO. 102, AN ORDINANCE ,REGULAT-
<br />ING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF SANI-
<br />TARIUMS OR HOSPITALS, WITHIN
<br />THE LIMITS OF THE TOWN OF RED.
<br />WOOD CITY," PASSED AND ADOPTED
<br />ON THE, 20TH DAY OF FEBRUARY,
<br />1911.
<br />THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
<br />TOWN OF REDWOOD CITY DO OR-
<br />DAIN AS FOLLOWS, TO -WIT:
<br />SECTION 1. Section I of an ordinan-
<br />ce of the Town of Redwood 'City'en-
<br />titled, "Ordinance No. 102, An Ordin-
<br />ance Regulating the. Establishment of
<br />Sanitariums or Hospitals, within the
<br />limits of the Town of Redwood City,"
<br />Passed and adopted by the Board of
<br />Trustees of -the Town of Redwood City
<br />on the 20th day of February, 1911, Is
<br />hereby amended to read as follows, to -
<br />wit:
<br />SECTION L It Is hereby declared
<br />unlawful for any person, firm, company
<br />or corporation to establish, maintain or,
<br />operate within -the limits of the '.down
<br />of Redwood City, any sanitarium, or
<br />eanatarlgm, or hospital, or health re-
<br />sort, or home for aged,' without Hrst
<br />obtaining a written permit from the
<br />r Board of Trustees of the Town of Red-
<br />wood City.
<br />'Section 2. This Ordinance shall be
<br />published once In the Redwood City
<br />Standard, a weekly- *newspaper pub-
<br />lished, printed and circulated In said
<br />Town of Redwood City, and shall take
<br />effect and be in force from and after
<br />'thirty (20) days after Its passage.
<br />Introduced this 29th day of August,
<br />1924.
<br />Passed and adopted as an Ordinance
<br />of the Town of Redwood City by the
<br />r' Board of Trustees of said Town at a
<br />regular meeting of said Board held on
<br />the End day of September, 1924, by the
<br />following vote:
<br />Ayes and In favor of the passage of
<br />the foregoing ordinance, Trustees,
<br />C. K. Mabie, A. E. Monteith, M. E.
<br />Ryan, G. W. McNulty, H. A. Beeger.
<br />Noes and against tae passage of the
<br />foregoing ordinance, Trustees,

<br />towards the expenses of the Convention of Justice's to be held in this City Saturday Sept.
<br />13th.1924,Motion Carried,
<br />Trustee Mabie offers Ordinance No.247 (Regualting handling and control of sawdust and
<br />shavings) and moves its introduction,Trustee Ryan secbnds the motrion.Motion Carried.
