<br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees held.
<br />' Upon roll call there were present Trust ees, President H.A.Beeger,C.K.Mabie,A.E.Monteith,
<br />G.W.MeNulty,M.E.Ryan,Clerk W.A.Price.
<br />®° Minutes of November 17th.1924 were read and on motion of Trustee Iabie,seconded by Trustee
<br />McNulty,same be approved as read. Motion Carried.

<br />Mr.2'eague appeared before the Board in regards to lights in �'al forma Square;on motion of
<br />Trustee McNultyrAseconded by Trustee Mabie same be referred to the City Electrician_to repot
<br />i
<br />back at next meeting.Motion Carried.
<br />�. Affidavit of Jas.D.nedge in the matter of Publishing and the affidavit of 0.1 0immitt in
<br />the matter of Posting notices in regards to the extension of Buane Street under Resolution
<br />of Intention No.G-9 was on motion of Trustee McNulty,seconded by Trustee ,Ryan and,oarried
<br />same be received and filed.
<br />A petition was presented to the Board from eighty four property owners in regards to the
<br />extension of Duane Street,to-wit;-
<br />We the undersigned property owners protest not to the extending of Oakdale Street but to
<br />this section be taxed for same.
<br />WHEREAS the entire City benefits by same,feel that expense of same should be`taxed to
<br />all the property owners of Redwood City,
<br />was on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Mabie said petition be received and filed

<br />.j Moved by Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee McNulty,the hearing of the extension of Duane
<br />Street petition be set for Monday December I5th.1924 at 7-30 o'clock P.M.Motion Carried.
<br />Communication from Mrs.Walter S.King regarding a refund on taxes was on motion_o% Trustee
<br />Ryan,seconded by Trustee Mabie and carried same be receibecl and filed.Motion Carried.
<br />Moved by Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee McNulty and carried, the Chairman be authorized
<br />to sign the agreement between Kuhn and Edwards Architects,in the additional and alterations
<br />of the present City Hall,Motion Carried.
<br />In the matter of Lyon & Hoag regarding City Water for the Britton tract north of the City
<br />Limits was on motion of Trustee Monteith,seconded by Trustee McNulty, the Chairman appoint
<br />a committee to report at next meeting D.ecember-15th.1924,Motion Carried,
<br />The 044irman thereupon appointed the following to act on said Committee,Trustees McNulty,
<br />and Monteith,Attorney Mansfield, and City Engineer Dimmitt.
<br />Moved by Trustee IvIabie,seconded by Trustee McNulty and carried the following dance permits
<br />were granted to -wit;- `
<br />Old Timers Club Becember 3rd.-IO-17-and•31st.1924 in.Forester's Hall until twelve Ofelock.
<br />Redwood City Liberty Club in I.O.O.F.Hall Saturday evening December 7th.1924 until no
<br />o'clock.
<br />On motion of Trustee McNulty,seconded by Trustee Mabie the City Engineer be instructed to
<br />make the necessary survey of grades for sidewalks,curbs, and streets in the Mezesviile
<br />ai strict Motion Carried.
<br />IVloved by Trustee McNulty,seconded by Trustee Ryan and carried the Clerk write 1Ir.Rose of
<br />the Southern Pacific Company asking him to appear before the Board next meeting to take up
<br />the matter of Brodaway croasing,Motion Carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee Monteith, seconded by Trustee Mabie, Mr Ligouri be authorized to
<br />purchase the necessary rubber matting required for the engine room at the Water Works
<br />Motion carkid.
<br />Reports of Treasurer,,Tax Collector,Building,Electrical,and Plumbing Inspector,Park Supt,
<br />and Poundmaster,was on motion of TrusteeRyan, seconded by Trustee McNulty, same be received„
