<br />RESOLVED, that the said Board of Trustees hereby rejects all Pf said proposals and bids
<br />except that herein mentioned and hereby awards the said contract for said work and improve-
<br />ments to the lowest,regular,responsible bidder,to-wit;

<br />The Town Clerk is hereby directed to post notice of this award conspicously for five(5)
<br />days on or near the council chamber door of said Board of Trustees, and also to publish said
<br />notice by two(2) successive insertions in the Redwood City Standard,a weekly newspaper of
<br />general circulation,published,printed and circulated in said Town,there being no dailyor
<br />semi-weekly newspaper circulated or published therein) and hereby designated for that purpos,)
<br />by said Board of Trustees.
<br />Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City at a regular meeting
<br />of said Board held on the 19th.day of January,.1925,by the following vote;
<br />Ayes,and in favor of the passage of the foregoing Resolution of Award,Trustees,

<br />moves its introduction,Trustee Mabie seconds the Motion, notion Carried.
<br />Application of the O.K.Club for permission to hold a one o'clock dance in Forester's
<br />Hall until one o'clock January 2¢th.1925 was granted on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by
<br />Trustee McNulty ah& carried.
<br />Moved by Trustee McNulty,seconded by Trustee Monteith and carried,a Hess & Company be
<br />given permission to install a 2¢ inch corrugated iron pipe, and fill in the creek on their
<br />property facing the Highway,same to be under the supervision of the Supt.of Streets.
<br />Application of Wm.Clark of San Mateo for a permit as Electrical Contractor was on motion
<br />of Trustee Ryan,seco4ded by Trustee Idabie,same be granted.Motion Carried.
<br />Communication from League of California Municipalities, regarding the printing of the
<br />Legislature bills was on motion of Trustee Ryah,seconded by Trustee McNulty and carried ,
<br />same be referred to the City Attorney.
<br />IVioved by Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Itilabie and carried, the Board accept the deed
<br />from the Anglo -California Trust Company fair portion of Lot I -Block 23,Oak Knoll Manor,Adj-
<br />oining City Reservoir.
<br />Moved by Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee ItiicNulty and carried, the Board accept the optiou
<br />from I.Irs.Margaret A.Ligouri on a fifty foot lot facing on Spring Street.
<br />Moved By Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Mabie, the Bu.pt.of Water instal?: water meter
<br />for Mr.Argo for water seri-ice underthe same condition as other outside consumers.Motion
<br />Carried.
