<br />Upon rollGcall there were present Trustees -;President H..A,.Beeger,C.K.Mabie,G.W.MeNulty,
<br />M.E.Ryan,Clwrk W.A.Price,Absent Trustee A.E.Monteith.
<br />Minutes of regular meeting held February 16th.1925 were read and on motion of Trustee
<br />McNulty,seconded by Trustee Ryan and carried same he approved as read. �t
<br />Trustee h1abie offers the following Resolution and moves its adoption,Trustee McNulty
<br />seconds the motion, Motion Carried.

<br />ARLINGTON ROAD IN WELLESLEY PARK
<br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER
<br />THE CLOSING OF A PORTION OF ARLINGTON ROAD.
<br />WHEREAS, EDGEWOOD PARK COMPANY heretofore filed herein its petition for the closing of
<br />a portion of ARLINGTON ROAD and it appearing to this board that the public interest and
<br />convenience requires the closing up of the portion of said Arlington Road as hereinafter
<br />described; -
<br />NOW THERESFORE RESOLVED, that it is the intention of the board of trustees of the Town
<br />of Redwood City to order the following street work to be done in said town,to-wit;
<br />That all that portion of Arlington Road lying between a line parallel with and distant
<br />seventy(70) feet southerly from the southerly line of lot 86 of Wellesley Park and a line
<br />parallel with and distant seuenty(70) feet southeasterly from the northwesterly line of
<br />Edgewood Road, -as said Arlington Road is shown on that certain map entitled"IIap of
<br />Wellesley Park ,San Mateo Co,.Cal."filed November 26,1888,in the County Recorder'sfoffice
<br />of. San Mateo County,State of California,in Book "B" of Maps at page 37,and a portion there
<br />of also shown on that certain map entitled "Map Number 2 of Subdivision One of a portion
<br />off Wellesley Park,San 14'a.teo County, Cal."filed May 20,1893,in Book "D" of Mpps at Page ¢I,
<br />to which said maps reference is here -by made and the same made part hereof,be vacated,
<br />abandoned and closed.
<br />That no land is necessary to be taken therefor;
<br />That the following described district of land is hereby declared to be the district
<br />affected and benefited by said work and to be assessed to pay the costs and expenses there
<br />of,and that said district is situate within the town of Redwood City,County of San Mateo,
<br />State of California,and the exterior boundaries thereof are pa rticularly bouhded and
<br />described as follows;
<br />Bounded by Edgewood Road,Melrose Place,Woodstock Palue,Brittan
<br />Road,now known as and called Whipple Avenue, and Ashley Avenue,
<br />as said roads,places and avenues are delineated on said Map of
<br />Wellesley Park. Saving and excepting therefrom all that portion
<br />of Arlington Road.,hereinbefore described,which is included and
<br />contained within the aforesaid exterior boundaries.
<br />All of said proposed work shall and will be done in pursuance of an act of the legislatur3
<br />of the state of Ualifornia entitled " An act to provide for laying out,opening,extending,
<br />widening,Straightening,or closing up,in whole or in part,any street,square,lane,alley,

<br />court or place within municipalities, and 'to condemn and acquire any and all lands and
<br />property necessary or convenient for that purptse ;'approved March 6th.1889,Statutes of
<br />28999page 70,and the amnedments thereto. (See Deerings General Laws Act 8195.)
<br />That the Redwood City Standard,a weekly newspaper printed,published and circulated
<br />in said towm of Redwood City,is hereby designated as the weekly newsaper)there being no
