<br />Resolved, that the said Board of Trustees hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids
<br />except that herein next mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work and
<br />making said improvements to the lowest regular responsible bidder,to-wit;
<br />SCHULTZ CONSTRUCTION COMPANY*
<br />at the prices named in their bid.
<br />The Tewn Clerk is hereby directed to post a notice of this award conspicuously for five
<br />days,on .or near the. councilmehamber door of the Board of Trustees of said Town of Redwood
<br />City, and also to publish said Notice of Award for two successive insertions in the Redwood
<br />City Standard., a weekly newspaper published,printed and circulated in said Town of Redwood
<br />City,( there being no daily or semi-weekly newspaper published, printed and circulated there-
<br />in), and hereby designated for that purpose by said Board of Trustees*
<br />Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of said Town of Redwood City at the hour of
<br />8.30 o'clock P,M* at a regular meeting of said Board held on the 5th.day of March,1923,by
<br />the following vote;
<br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing Resolution of Award No.F-I,Trustees,
<br />C.g.Mabie,H.A,Beeger, M.E.Ryan, G.W.MeNulty.

<br />Application of the Pacific Gas &s Electric Company for a permit to set three (3) poles on
<br />George Street,as per BLUE PRINT 140.714-R,was on motion of.Tfustee Ryan,seconded by Tfnstee
<br />Beeger same be granted.Motion Carried.
<br />Communication from the League of California Municipalities regarding certain bills now
<br />before the State Legislature, was on motion of Trustee Beeger,seconded by Trustee Ryan and
<br />carried,same be referred to the City Attorney for his 'opinion, Motion Carried.
<br />Communication from Reverend Edward H.Molony,Rector of St.Peters Church informing the
<br />Board the matter of improving Webster Street,facing the Church property would be presented
<br />to St.Peter's Vestry, was on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Beeger and carried,
<br />same be received and filed.
<br />Application of Court Madrone # 158,F,of A.for a permit to hold a three o'clock dance in
<br />Forester's Hall Saturday,March Ioth.1923,was on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee
<br />Beeger,and carried,same be granted,
<br />Communication from the Peninsula Fair Assn.asking the Board to endorse their proposition
<br />by resolution,was on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Ryan,same be referred to
<br />the City Attorney to draw up a resolution, Motion Carried.,
