<br />Regular adjourned meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City held,
<br />Upon roll call there were present; -Trustees President G.W,McNulty,Carl g.Mabie.H.A.
<br />Beeger,M.E.Ryan,City Clerk W.A.Price,
<br />Minutes of March 5th.1923,were dispensed with until next meet.ing,on motion of Trustee
<br />Beeger,seconded by Trustee Ryan and carried.
<br />The matter of E.W.Magruder in building his present houses on mud sills was brought to
<br />the attention of the Board,by Building Inspector Drathman, after hearing Mr.1,Iagruder,. and
<br />Mr.Drathman talk on the subject,it was on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Beeger
<br />said matter be referred to the City Attorney to be reported back at next meeting,Motion
<br />Carried,
<br />The following dance permits were granted on motion made by Trustee Mabie,seconded by
<br />Trustee Beeger and carried; -
<br />Redwood City Liberty Club------- April 8th,1923--I,O.O,F.Hall until I o'clock A.M.
<br />Redwood City Parlor,§ 66 N.S.G.W.March 24th.1923-Forester's Hall,until 3 o'clock A.M.
<br />Young Ladies Sodality of Mt,Carmel Parish,March 16th,1923-Forester's Hall until I2 0'
<br />clock midnight.
<br />Application of the Pacific Gas & Electric Company under Date of December 13th,I922,
<br />for a permit to set two poles on the State Highway,between Brewster Avenue and Broadway,
<br />as per Blue Print j 675-R was on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Mabie.,same be
<br />granted, Motion Carried,
<br />Affidavits of Jas.D.Hedge in the matter of Publishing and Ed.Dearborn,Supt of Streets
<br />in the matter of Posting notices of RESOLUTION of Intention No.F-2,was on motion of
<br />n
<br />Trustee Mabie,seconded by. trustee Ryan,same be received and filed,Motion Carried,
<br />Trustee Mabie offers the following Resolution and moves its.adoption.Trustee Beeger
<br />seconds the motion,Motion Carried.
<br />RESOLUTION "ORDERING THE WORK NO, F-2.
<br />RESOLVED, that whereas the Board of Trustees of -the Town of Redwood City,did on the 13th.
<br />day of Febraary,1923tpass and adopt its Resolution of Intention No.F-2 to order the here-
<br />inafter described work to be done and improvements to be rAade in said Town,which Resolution
<br />of Intention Ho.F-2 was duly and legally published as required by law,as appears from the
<br />affidavit of Jas..D.Hedge now on file in the office of the Clerk of said Town of Redwood
<br />City; and
<br />WHERE9.S, after the passage of said Resolution of Intention No.F-2,notices of the passage
<br />thereof,headed " NOTICE OF IMPROVEMENT", were duly and legally posted along the line of
<br />said contemplated work and in front of all property liable to be assessed therefor and upon
<br />[a all the streets in the district to be assessed therefor,in time,form, manner and number as
<br />required by law,as appears from the affidavit of Edward Dearborn,Street Superintendent of
<br />said Tvvn of Redwood City,which affidavit is now on file in the office of the Clerk of
<br />said Town; and
<br />WHEREAS,it appears from the said affidavit of Edward Dearborn,Street Superintendent above
<br />mentioned, that the posting of said notices of improvement;as aforesaid was completed on
<br />the 28th.day of February,1923; and
<br />WHEREAS, at the time fixed in said Resolution of Intention No.F-2 and in the notices of
<br />the passage thereof,so posted as aforesaid, when and where any and all persons having any
<br />onjections to the proposed work and improvements described therein or to the propsoed
<br />grade at which said work and improvements is to be alone and madelpeould appear before the
<br />Board of Trustees of said Town of Redwood City and show cause why said proposed work and
