Motion carried. <br />RESOLUTION CONFIMIING ASSESSMENT, <br />V1BEREAS, the assessment for street work done under certain contract dated lipril 21st,1925i, <br />between W.W.THO10SON9first party and C.L.DIIMITT, as Superintendent of Streets of the Town <br />of Redwood City as second party, for the doing of all street work mentioned and described in <br />Resolution of Intention No, H-2, passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of <br />Redwood'City on the 16th day of February, 1925; and now on file in the office of the Clerk <br />lof said Town of Redwopd City, to which resolutionreference is hereby made for a description <br />of said work, was filed in the office'of the Clerk of said Town of Redwood City on the 21st <br />day of July, 1925; and <br />a a <br />WHEREAS, said Clerk did thereupon fix Monday the 10th day of ;�ugust,l925, t the hour of <br />10 o'clock A.1if said day at the meeting'plaee of said Board of Trustees in the Council Cham- j <br />ber in the Town ,Rall of said Town as the time and place for a hearing on said assessment and y <br />sa the time and place for making written objections thereto as provided for in that cerjain f <br />j <br />Act of the Legislature of the State of California, entitled "Improvement Act of 191111, <br />approved April 7th, 1911, and Acts amendatory thereto: and <br />WHEREAS, said notice of filing said street assessment and hearing thereon was duly and <br />legally posted as required by law as appears from the affi-davit of J.D.Hedge, now on file in <br />the office of the Clerk of said Town of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, said notice of filing street assessment and of hearing thereon was duly and <br />legallyppsted as required by law and the owners of property assessed for street work as shovin <br />in said assessment were duly and legally notified of said filing of said assessment and of <br />the hearing thereon as appears,from the affix1avit of �W.A.Price, Town Clark now on file in �• <br />the office of the Clerk of said Town; and <br />WHEREAS, no objections of any kind were made against said assessment and no appeals <br />of any kind were taken to said Board of Trustees relative to said assessment and said Board <br />of Trustees now having acquired jurisdiction over said assessment, now therefore be it <br />resolved by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City that the above mentioned ass- <br />essment for street work done under Resolution of Intention Ido, H-2, hereinbefore mentioned, <br />be and the same is hereby confirmed, <br />Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City at a regular adjourn- <br />ed meeting of said Board held on the 10th day of August, 1925, by the following vote: <br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing Resolution.
