<br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS NO, H-13.
<br />RESOLVED, by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, County of San Mateo,
<br />State of California, that the plans, profiles and specifications for doing the following
<br />work and making the following improtements in said Town of Redwood City, to -wit:
<br />That Fulton street from the north-
<br />westerly line of Vera avenue to the
<br />southeasterly line of Jefferson avenue;
<br />Cleveland street from the north-
<br />westerly line of Vera avenue
<br />to the southeasterly line of Jefferson
<br />avenue; Jackson avenue from -the
<br />northeasterly llne •,of Fulton street to
<br />the southwesterly line of Adams street;
<br />Madison avenue from the northeaster-
<br />ly line of Fulton street to the south-
<br />westerly line of EI Camino Real; Vera
<br />avenue from the southwesterly line of
<br />Fulton street northeasterly for a dis-
<br />tance of 276 feet to connect with ex -
<br />[sting pavement; Adams street from the
<br />northwesterly line of Madison avenue
<br />to the southeasterly line of Jefferson
<br />avenue, Including all street, avenue
<br />and alley Intersections and termina-
<br />tions and portions thereof Included
<br />within the lines of the several streets
<br />and avenues above described, except-
<br />ing, however, all Intersections of above
<br />streets, avenues and alleys with Clin-
<br />ton street, be Improved as follows, to -
<br />wit:
<br />That the roadways of said streets
<br />and avenues and portions thereof above
<br />described be graded, and paved with
<br />four (4) Inch asphaltic concrete pave-
<br />ment upon a three (3) Inch base or
<br />cushion cf broken stone. There is ex-
<br />cepted, however, from the above des-
<br />cribed work, a strip eighteen (18) inch-
<br />es In width linmediately adjacent to
<br />the curb lines on both sides of the here-
<br />Inbefore mentioned and described
<br />streets and avenues that are to be pav-
<br />ed, reserved for gutters, provided,
<br />however, that a two (2) Inch base or
<br />cushion cf broken stone shall be plac-
<br />ed under all gutters to be built.
<br />That hydraulic cement concrete com-
<br />bination curb and gutter be construct-
<br />ed on both sides of the hereinbefore
<br />mentioned and described streets and
<br />avenues that are to be paved, the curb
<br />portion of said combination curb and
<br />gutter to be six (6) Inches across the
<br />top and eleven (31) Inches deep and
<br />the gutter portion of said comibination
<br />curb and gutter -to be eighteen (18)
<br />Inches wide and to be six (6) Inches
<br />thick next to the pavement and five
<br />(-o) inches thick next to the curb, and
<br />eaid combination curb and gutter to be
<br />constructed at one time so that there
<br />shall be no joint between the curb and
<br />gutter. There Is excepted from said
<br />curb and gutter both sides of Adams
<br />street from the southeasterly line of
<br />Madison avenue to the southeasterly
<br />line of Jefferson avenue; Madison av-
<br />enue on both sides thereof from the
<br />southwesterly line of EI Camino Real
<br />to the southwesterly line of Clinton
<br />street; Jackson avenue on both sides
<br />thereof from the southwesterly line of
<br />Adams street to the southwesterly line
<br />of Clinton ,street;.Modison avenue on
<br />the northwesterly side thereof from
<br />the southwesterly line of Clinton
<br />street southwesterly for a distance of
<br />74 feet, curb being now in place at said
<br />above described places. Said combi-
<br />nation curb and gutter shall be con-
<br />structed upon all corners of Intersec-
<br />ting and terminating streets, avenues
<br />and alleys within the lines of the
<br />streets and avenues hereinbefore des-
<br />cribed to be paved, excepting however,
<br />all corners of Intersecting and term-
<br />inating streets within the lines of the
<br />streets and avenues above de-
<br />scribed where curbs are now In place.
<br />That hydraulic cement concrete gut-
<br />ters be constructed on both sides of
<br />Adams street between the southeaster-
<br />ly line of Madison avenue and the
<br />southeasterly line of Jefferson avenue;
<br />Madison avenue from the southwester-
<br />ly line of El Camnio Real -to the north-
<br />easterly line of Clinton street; Jack-
<br />son avenue from the southwesterly line
<br />of Adams street to the northeasterly
<br />line of Clinton. street; Madison avenue
<br />on the northwesterly side therof and
<br />from the southwesterly line of Clinton
<br />street southwesterly for a distance of
<br />74 feet, said gutter to be eighteen (18)
<br />Inches wide and six (6) Inches thick.
<br />Said gutters shall also be constructed
<br />upon all corners of Intersecting streets,
<br />avenues and alleys within the lines of
<br />the streets and avenues above describ-
<br />ed where said gutters are to be con-
<br />structed, excepting, however the in-
<br />tersections of Clinton street.
<br />as said plans, profiles and specifications have been prepared by the City Engineer and
<br />submitted this 10th day of August, 1925, be and they are hereby adopted as and for the
<br />plans, profilees and specifications for doing said work and making said improvements.
<br />Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City at a regular
<br />adjourned meeting of said Board held on the 10th day of August, 1925,by the following vote:
<br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing Resolution, Trustees,
<br />C.K.Mabie, ?I.E.Monteith,'G.W.MoNulty. H.A.Beeger.
<br />Noes and against the passage of the foregoing Resolution, Trustees,
