<br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees held.
<br />Upon roil call there were present Trustees Pres H.a.Beeger, C.B.Mabie, A..B,.Monteith,
<br />G,A,MoNulty, M.E,Ryan, City Clerk W.A.,Prics.
<br />Minutes of Augnpt 3rd and August 10th,19259 was OP motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded

<br />by Trustee Monteith, said minutes be dispensed with until neat regular meetingeMotion carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee Monteith, seconded by Trustee McNulty, Mr Duncan be allowed to put
<br />down a private roadway on Iris Street in the Duncan Park subdivision said roadway to be 16
<br />feet in width. Motion carried.
<br />Moved by Trustee Ryan seoonded by Trustee McNulty, the City Engineer be instructed to
<br />prepare Plans and specifications for the improving of Phelps Street, in accordance to either
<br />type of pavement adopted by the City. Motion carried.
<br />A petition was presented to the Board from property owners residing in thecNow High school
<br />Acres district asking fbr the installing of street lights in that district, was on motion of
<br />Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Monteith said petition be received and filed, and same
<br />be referred to the City Electrician to report at neat meeting. Motion carried.
<br />Communication from the PacifioCoast Association of Fire Chiefs, requesting the Board to
<br />have the Redwood City Fire Chief .attend the' Association's convention at Seattle,Wash, grow
<br />Sept 21st to 24th,1925, was on motion of Trustee MoNult seconded by Trustee monteith, Fire
<br />Ohief M.E.Ryan attend the convention at time mentioned the City to pay his expenses,
<br />Motion carried.
<br />Communication from A. Butter & Company regarding the Auditing ofthebooks and #records of
<br />the City, was on motion 9f Trustee Ryan seconded by Trustee Monteith tame be received and
<br />filed. Motion carried.
<br />Application of the Italian Catholic Federation, Redwood City Branch J6,,for a, permit to
<br />hold a 12 o'clock dance in I.O,O,F. hall on Saturday night Juga t 29th,1925, was on motion
<br />,of Trustee Mable, seconded by Trustee Monteith said permit be granted. Motion carried.
<br />On motion,of Trustee Mable, seconded by Trustee Monteith the City purchase from i,Carlisle
<br />and Co, 1000 City maps at the price 4untdd by said Company in the amount Of $109.50 and
<br />additional copies to be purchased and paid for by the.Chamber' of Comierce.Motion carried.
<br />Application of the Pacific Gas & Electric 0o for permission to place attachments on one'
<br />of the City poles, was on°motion of Trustee Monteith, seconded by Trustee McNulty same be
<br />granted. Motion carried.
<br />Affidavit of W.A,Prioe,, City Clerk in the matter of posting and mailing NOTICE OF FILING
<br />OF STREET ABSEBBMENT AND HEARING THEREON, for street work done under Resolution of Intention
<br />No. H-10 was on motion of Trustee MoNulty,,seconded by Trustee Monteith same be received
<br />and filed.tMotion carried.
<br />Trustee Mabie offers the following Resolution and moves its adoption, Trustee Monteith
<br />seconds thecmotion. Motion caftried.
<br />RESOLUTION CONFIRMING ASSESSUMO
<br />WHEREAS, the assessment for street work done under certain contract dated April 15th,1925„
<br />between E.M.DEARBORN, first party, and C.L.DIIIIMITT, as Superintendent of Streets of the
<br />Town of Redwood City, as second party for the doing of all street work mentionedeaad desor-
<br />ibed in Resolution of Intention No. H-1 passed and adopted byithe Board'of Trustees of the
<br />Town of Redwood City on the 2nd day of February, 19259 and now on file in the office of the
<br />Clerk of said Town of Redwood City, to which resolution reference is hereby made for a
<br />description of said work, was filed 3n the office of the Clerk of said Town of Redwood City
<br />on the 27th day of July, 1925; and
<br />WHEREAS, said Clerk did thereupon fix Monday, the 17th day of August, 1925, at the hour
