<br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees held.
<br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees Pres 1i.A.Beeger, C.S.Mabie, ,E.Monteith,
<br />G.W.McNulty, M.E.Ryan, Oity Clerk W.A.Price.
<br />Minutes of .ugnst 3rd and August 10th,19259 was on motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded
<br />by Trustee Monteith, said minutes be dispensed with until next regular meeting.Motion carried,
<br />On motion of Trustee Monteith, seconded by Trustee McNulty, Mr Duncan be allowed to put
<br />down a private roadway on Iris Street in the Duncan Park subdivision said roadway to be 16
<br />feet in width. Motion carried.
<br />Moved by Trustee Ryan seconded by Trustee McNulty, the City Engineer be instructed to
<br />prepare Plans and Specifications for the improving of Phelps Street, in accordance to either
<br />type of pavement adopted by the City. Motion carried.
<br />A petition was presented to the Board from property owners residing in the New High School
<br />acres district asking for the installing of street lights in that district, was on motion of
<br />Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Monteith said petition be received and filed, and same
<br />be referred to the City Electrician to report at next meeting. Motion carried.
<br />Communication from the Pacific Coast Association of Fire Chiefs, requesting the Board to
<br />have the Redwood City Fire Chief attend the Association's convention at Seattle,Wash, from
<br />Sept 21st to 2¢th,1925, was on motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee monteith, Fire
<br />Ohief M.E.Ryan attend the convention at time mentioned the City to pay his expenses.
<br />Motion carried.
<br />Communication from A. Sutter & Company regarding the Auditing of the books and records of
<br />the City, was on motion of Trustee Ryan seconded by Trustee Monteith same be received and
<br />filed. Motion carried.
<br />'. Application of the Italian Catholic Federation, Redwood City Branch #6, for a permit to
<br />hold a 12 o'clock dance in I.O.O.F, hall on Saturday night Augudt 29th,1925, was on motion
<br />of Trustee Mabie, seconded by Trustee Monteith said permit be granted. Motion carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee Mabie, seconded by Trustee Monteith the City purchase from A,Carlisle
<br />and Co, 1000 City maps at the price quotdd by said Company in the amount of $109.50 and
<br />additional copies to be purchased and paid for by the Chamber of Commerce.Motion carried.
<br />Application of the Pacific Gas & Electric do for permission to place attachments on one
<br />of the City poles, was on motion of Trustee Monteith, seconded by Trustee McNulty same be
<br />granted. Motion carried.
<br />Affidavit of W.A.Price, City Clerk in the matter of posting and mailing NOTICE OF FILING
<br />OF STREET ASSESSMENT AND HEARING THEREON, for street work done under Resolution of Intention
<br />No. H-1, wes on motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Monteith same be received
<br />I
<br />' and filed. Motion carried.

<br />RESOLUTION CONFIRMING ASSESSMENT.
<br />WHEREAS, the assessment for street work done under certain contract dated April 15th,1925,
<br />between E.M.DEARBORN, first party, and C.L.DIMMITT, as Superintendent of Streets of the
<br />Town of Redwood City, as second party for the doing of all street work mentioned and descr-
<br />ibed in Resolution of Intention No. H-1 passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the
<br />Town of Redwood City on the 2nd day of February, 1925, and now on file in the office of the
<br />Clerk of said Town of Redwood City, to which resolution reference is hereby made for a
<br />description of said work, was filed in the office of the Clerk of said Town of Redwood City
<br />on the 27th day of July, 1925; and
<br />WHEREAS, said Clerk did thereupon fix Monday, the 17th day of August, 1925, at the hour
