<br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City held.
<br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees;- President GoVoMeNulty, Carl I£.Mabie,H.A.Beeger,
<br />M.E.Ryan,Clerk W.A.Price. A , . 1 .
<br />Minutes of regular meeting held March 5th.1923,and adjourned meeting held March 12th.
<br />1923 weee read and on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Beeger 'same be approved
<br />as read, Motion Carried.
<br />IVtoved by Trustee Ryan,seoonded by Trustee Mabie and carried, the City Attorney be in-
<br />structed to amend Ordinance• in regards to the changing of weight of wagons and trucks upon
<br />the streets of the Town of Redwood City.
<br />The matter of Finger Avenue sewer was on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee
<br />Beeger,same be referred to the City Attorney and City Engineer to communicate with the
<br />property owners facing on said sewer district ,giving the price of said work by bond
<br />improvement or by private contract and to report at next meeting,Motion Carried.
<br />Application of the Pacific Gas & Electric Company for permission. to set' three (3) poles
<br />on Iris Street as per Blue Print § 716-R was on Motion of Trustee Mabie,seeo#ded by
<br />Trustee Beeger same be granted, Motion Carried.
<br />Application of Court Madrone # 158,Foof A. for a permmt to hold a three o'clock dance
<br />in Forester's Hall on Saturday evening April 7th.1923,was granted on motion of Trustee
<br />Mabie,seconded by Trustee Beeger and carried.
<br />Communication from Bonita Parlor # IO,N.D.G.W, offering to the City, a Sequoia Gigan
<br />tree for the City Hall grounds was on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Beeger,
<br />said tree be accepted and the clerk write the Native Daughters thanking them,Motion
<br />Carried.
<br />A petition from several property owners frdnting on Re'dw'ood and Sequoia Avenue's for
<br />paving with oil and macadam of said avenues,was on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by
<br />Trustee Ryan and carried same be received and file&.
<br />Moved by Trustee Ryan,seeonded by Trustee Beeger and carried, the City Attorney and
<br />F
<br />City Engineer be instructed to start proceedings for improvement of Webster Street from
<br />intersection of Washington Street to the improved pavement on Webster Street.
<br />To eliminate salt water on the streets caused by ioecream trucks it was on motion of
<br />Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Ryan and carried said matter be referred to the chief
<br />of Police.

<br />On motion of Trustee Beeger,seconded by Trustee Ryan., and carried,City Engineer Dimmitt,
<br />fr(ft be appointed a committee of one t\o revise the assessment roll of the Town.-

<br />allowed a clerk at the sum of Twenty Dollars per month until such time the rush of his
<br />work is over.
<br />Moved by Trustee Beeger,seconded by Trustee Ryan and carried, the City purchase from the
<br />Ralphs-Pugh C0,500 feet 2z inch Admiral brand fire hose at 90 cents per foot, and 500 feet
<br />I inch Admiral brand of fire hose at 55 cents per foot,ali in 50 foot lengths,with same

<br />thread and weight of couplings as now owing used by the fire dopartment the above quot-
<br />ations are F.O.B.Redwood City, same were submitted to the Board by letter dated on January
<br />17th,I9230
<br />Moved by Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Beeger and carried we now adjourn,
