<br />On motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Monteith, minutes of meetings held on
<br />August 3rd, 10th, 17th, 313t, and September 8th, 19259 be dispensed with until next re&lar
<br />meeting. Motion carrird,
<br />�I A petition was presented to the Board by property owners having frontage on Myrtle, Sing,
<br />Lexington, James, Katherine, and Lowell Streets asking for the changing of the improvements
<br />of said streets from Vibrolithic pavement, to Asphaltic concrete, was on motion of Trustee
<br />Monteith, seconded by Trustee McNulty said petition be received and filed.Motion carried.

<br />Moved by Trustee Monteith, seconded by Trustee McNulty, the Board agree to pay the San
<br />Francisco Chronicle the sum of $100.00 for publivity in said paper. Motion carried.
<br />Application from the property owners residing in the vicinity of Fulton St, and Madison
<br />Avenue, asking for the installing'of a street light, was on motion of Trustee Monteith
<br />seconded by Trustee McNulty said petition be referred to the City Electtician.Motion carried,
<br />Application of the Palo Alto Junk Yard for a license to buy junk and second hand merch.
<br />andise in this City, was on motion of Trustee Monteith, seconded by Trustee McNulty, said
<br />application be granted, same to be under the supervision of the Chief of Polioe.Motion carried.
<br />.Communication from Raskin@ & Sells regarding the auditoring of the books and records of
<br />the City, was on motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Monteith same be received
<br />and filed, and referred to the Finance Committee. Motion carried.
<br />Affidavit of Jas D. Hedge in the matter of Publishing, and affidavit of W.A.Price, City
<br />Clerk in the matter of posting near Council Chamber door, NOTICE OF FILING UNPAID ASSESS-
<br />MENT LIST AND HEARING THEREON. under Resolution of Intention No.H-2, was on motion of Trus-
<br />tee MoNulty, seconded by Trustee Monteith, same be received and filed. Motion carried..
<br />Trustee Mabie offers the following Resolution and moves its adoption, Trustee McNulty

<br />RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF IMPROVE6RENT BONDS OF THE TOWN
<br />REDWOOD CITY PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO, H-29 DETERMINING
<br />THE AMOUNT OF UNPAID ASSESSMENTS, PRESCRIBING THE DENOMINATIONS OF SUCH
<br />BONDS. AND PROVIDING FOR THEIR ISSUANCE AND DELIVERY.

<br />WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City did, on the 16th day
<br />of February, 1925, pass and adopt its Resolution of Intention No. H-2 relating to the im-
<br />x:r.• provement of Roosevelt Avenue in said city, under and pursuant to the provisions of the
<br />"Improvement Act of 191111, as amended, and did by said Resolution of Intention provide that
<br />serial bonds to represent unpaid assessments, and bear interest at the rate of seven per
<br />cent. per annum, will be issued thereunder in the manner provided by the "Improvement Bond
<br />Act of 1915", as amended, the last installment of which bonds shall mature nine years from
<br />the second day of July next succeeding ten months from their date, reference to said Resolut.
<br />ion of Intention being hereby expressly made for further particulars; and
<br />WHEREAS, the contract for said work and improvement was duly awarded and there-
<br />after duly completed to the satisfaction of the Superintendent of Streets of said city and
<br />this Board, whereupon a warrant, diagram and assessment were made, recorded and delivered
<br />to the contractor in time, form and manner as required by law, and the assignee of the con-
<br />tractor having made.due return thereon and the same having been duly filed; and
<br />WHEREAS, on September 4th, 1925, the Street Superintendent of said city made and
<br />filed with the cleric of this city a complete list of all assessments unpaid thereunder upon
<br />the respective assessment or diagram numbers thereon, whereupon said clerk gave notice of
<br />the filing of said list, and fixed in said notice Monday, the 21st day of September, 1925,
