I: <br />RESOLUTION RELATING 'TO THE ISSUANCE OF IMPROVEMENT BONDS OF <br />THE TOWN OF REDWOOD CITY PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION OF INTENTION <br />N0. H-1, DETERMINING THE AMOUNT OF UNPAID ASSESSMENTS, PRE- <br />SCRIB=G THE DENOMINATIONS OF SUCH BONDS, AND PROVIDING FOR <br />THEIR ISSUANCE AND DELIVERY. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, did,,on the 2nd day of <br />1. <br />February, 1925, pass and adopt its Resolution of Intention No. H-1 relating to the improve- <br />ment of Harrison Avenue and Adams and Clinton streets in said city, under and pursuant to <br />the provisions of the "Improvement Act of 1911", as amended, and did by said Resolution of i <br />Intention provide that serial bonds to represent unpaid assessments, and bear interest at <br />the rate of seven per cent per annum, will be issued thereunder in the manner provided by <br />the "Improvement Bond Act of 1915", as amended, the last installment of which bonds shall <br />mature nine years from the second day of July next succeeding ten months from their date, <br />reference to said Resolution of Intention being hereby expressly made for further particulars; <br />I <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the contract for said work and improvement was duly awarded and thereafter <br />duly completed to the satisfaction of the Superintendent of Streets of said city a -ad this <br />Board, whereupon a warrant, diagram and assessment were made, recorded and delivered to the <br />i <br />contractor in time, form and manner as required by law, and the assignee of the contractor <br />having made due return thereon and the same having been duly filed; and <br />WHEREAS, on September 22nd , 1925, the Street Superintendent of said city made <br />and filed with the clerk of this city a complete list of all assessments unpaid thereunder <br />upon the respective assessment or diagram numbers thereon, whereupon said clerk gave notice <br />of the filing of said list, and fixed in said notice Monday, the 5th day of October, 1925, at <br />thle hour of 7:30 o'clock P. M. of said day at the council chambers of said Board of Trustees <br />of said city in the Town Hall on Webster Street, as the time when interested persons might <br />appear before the board of Trustees and show cause why bonds should not be issued upon the <br />security of the unpaid assessments shown on said list, as appears from affidavits on file in <br />the office of said clerk, said time being that of this regular meeting of said Board of <br />Trustees; and said Board having found no objections against the issuance of bonds as afore- <br />said presented 'before or at the time for said hearing; and <br />WHEREAS, since the said filing by said Superintendent of Streets of said list of j <br />E <br />assessments unpaid, the following assessments have been paid, to -wit: <br />Assessment and <br />Diagram number Amount <br />14 232.27 <br />15 232.27 <br />aggregating the total sum of $464.54 , leaving a balance due on account of unpaid assess- <br />ments of $4918.04 ; and said list of assessments unpaid filed by said Street Superintendent, <br />as aforesaid, appearing in all respects complete and correct after excepting and deducting <br />therefrom the assessments paid since the filing thereof, as hereinabove set forth, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved and found and determined, by said Board of <br />Trustees, that said list of assessments unpaid filed by said Street Superintendent as afore- <br />said was at the time of said filing thereof in all respects complete and correct, and that <br />since the filing thereof, assessments have been paid aggregating the sum of $464.54 as <br />hereinabove set forth, and also that the unpaid assessments made pursuant to proceedings <br />duly taken under said Resolution of Intention, and the aggregate amount of the same are as <br />f oll ows : <br />I: <br />, <br />
